My mail to Starplus & their reply!

Hi Star plus,

First of all, I would like to pass on my whole-hearted appreciation to the Iss pyar ko kya naam doon team for giving us a really wonderful experience in watching a serial that is very unique. All the actors, technicians do a really awesome job that IPKKND has become a daily routine for me and without it, during weekends, I find it really hard to stay calm. I am that much attached to this serial that I end up watching all of the old episodes again and again during the weekends. This is the kind of addiction I have towards this serial and I'm 100% sure, it is not just me, there are many more people world-wide, who are equally glued to IPKKND serial. Please look at the number of views on youtube for IPKKND. It is all more than 1 lakh! This is the only serial that has got me hooked so much that, I not only watch it everyday at 8 p.m, but also, watch its repeat telecast!

I would also like to say that the creatives and writers of IPKKND needs a special mention! This is the only serial, where nothing is predictable! Whatever we predict, never happens and the creatives really surprise us everytime, which is also the reason why we are glued so much to this serial! Apart from that, do I even need to let you know about Arnav-Khushi chemistry??? It is mind-blowing, out of the world! There can be no other pair which can compete with the chemistry Sanaya and Barun share on-screen! We really adore the couple so much that, when they are sad, we become sad! When they are happy, we all become very happy for them! All the other supporting actors in IPKKND serial are also doing a really great job!! Shyam's character is hated so much because of the perfect portrayal of the character by Abhaas Mehta. Please convey this message to the IPKKND team!

I love this serial so much. But, one thing that really concerns me is the TRP and the promotion of IPKKND in Starplus! I'd request you on behalf of many IPKKND fans to give more promos and please telecast those promos frequently!

I'd like to give you an example which really upsets me. Once, a new promo was telecasted during 9:30 p.m show. Then, there were many of IPKKND fans, who were waiting to catch a glimpse of the promo whole night and the promo was telecasted at 6 a.m, next day! This was not the case for other serials. The whole night, we got to see the promos of other serials getting repeated multiple times and very frequently. But, the promo of IPKKND was not telecasted second time in the whole night! This is not the kind of promotion we expect from Starplus for the serial that we love! I kindly request you to pay equal attention, if not more, to IPKKND serial as well!

There are many online viewers but, unfortunately, they don't contribute to the TRP rating. This is the first time, I'm worried about a serial's TRP and every week, I keep track of IPKKND's TRPs. I hope you understand how much we love this serial! But, TRP can increase only if the serial is promoted properly, right? So, can you please look into this issue? I was never attached this much to a serial. Now, being attached so much to this serial, I'm forced to request you to promote my favourite serial as it is not getting the attention it is supposed to get!

I would also like you to let me know how people from South India can contribute to TRP as it is not being considered. But, there are many IPKKND fans spread over South India as well, who wants to contribute to the TRP!

Guys, can anyone tell me the star plus e-mail id? found it .. it is hello@startv.com found it from the star plus website. I have sent the mail. please comment if this is ok and anything else is to be added. I also request everyone to send an e-mail from their side to Starplus for promoting our show 😊 I will keep you guys posted if I get any reply.

add the following also in your mail.. requesting them to consider youtube hits while rating a serial!

But, they never told they will promote the show or anything..😕they have just mentioned that they will send the feedback to the relevant teams. I have replied them back asking them to tell me about people from south india contributing to TRP and give me a guarantee that the show will be promoted properly. lets see if they respond.. but, please mail them!!!

Guys, mailing is not helping... So, please call SP and give your feedback! No: 180030007827 Please call them and ask for providing frequent promos and ask them to air the promo frequently!!

Your letter is really good and loved that you have mentioned every bloody thing that i wanted to tell SP people. I don't want to sound bossy but i have one suggestiont.Could you plz break the long paragraphs into smaller ones so that it's easier and more attractive to read?...it's just a small request of mine bcos i think that'd make this email more effective.
