Well thats true.I dont support the idea of 360 degree character change just cuz a person fell in lowee. movie was filled of typical cliches and stereotyping.TParticulary hate when the heroine just leaves her husband for true lover without putting in much efforts to make their marriage work.This is becoming like a pattern in all Imtiaz Ali movies.I think this is his idea of modern romance.Atleast Cocktail was better than LAK in that case.Also never understood why Saif fell in love with Diana or viceversa.He felt so strongly for her just cuz she is a typical bharatiya naari.Hasnt he seen abla bharatiya naaris in his life before meeting Meera?😕 The transition was v poorly shown.Overall I could connect to Veronica's emotions better,maybe cuz I found Deepika better in acting department.

Character that Diana penty essayed. She looked so ravishing. I would love to see her in new movies .

exactly...i don't why the thinking goes like tht if a woman party smokes and drinks, she is considered a BITCH. when her character was introduced, she completely wowed, as the film progressed she was getting better..but the interval it was all messed up. Imitiaz needs to improve his writing especially in turns of women characters and escape them from typical shit. well for me this isn't her best performance, i think best performance was in KHJJS where she played a revolutionary, if anyone could play kalpana dutta it was deepika only...though people haven't seen the movie they obviously don't know how she acted...she also got positive reviews for this role.

Meera's character. It made more sense to me. Veronica's character seemed more confused than anything in my eyes. I also think Diana portrayed Meera to the best of her ability which made me like her character as well as her performance even more.

While Deepika did great (and this is coming from someone who's not a Deepika fan)..she's been around for 5 yrs and after all those yrs, she finally nails it with an actual praiseworthy performance that nearly everyone would agree to..but, Diana for her very first performance did great..so, I'd give her an edge over Deepika in this film.

Everybody except Saif. I didn't like Veronica's over-the-top "party girl" character, and Meera was just too typical. And I didn't understand why she fell for Gautam. And Gautam's character was...whawassat?
