Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, and Katy Perry Face Arrest for Dirty Dancing!

Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, and Salman Khan have never been noted for their dancing skills. In fact it's safe to say that Bebo and Sallu are especially terrible dancers. So why are their dance steps being singled out?
Well apparently not only do they have two left feet, but certain segments of India believe them to be totally indecent!
Priyanka, Kareena, and Salman (along with Amitabh Bachchan and Katy Perry) have been accused of public indecency for their performances at this year's IPL inauguration. To be specific, the Madras High Court has accused the lot of them of "indecent dancing."
Indecent dancing? What is this, Footloose? Exactly how raunchy were these dances? Here's a look at Priyanka's:
So...not very, as it turns out. But in India, all it takes is for one person to find something offensive and it's off to court you go. A partial list of things the Indian public have found offensive over the years includes Shahrukh Khan smoking on a film set, Shahrukh Khan smoking at a cricket match, Shahrukh Khan smoking in his kitchen while making omelettes (ok, maybe not that last one, but it wouldn't be surprising if it happened), Richard Gere kissing Shilpa Shetty, Jaya Bachchan not speaking perfect Marathi, the word "Bombay" in films instead of the right-wing approved "Mumbai," etc., etc., etc.
Added to that list is Amitabh Bachchan, a senior citizen who hasn't convincingly shaken a leg since 'Amar, Akbar, Anthony,' who clearly shook his groove thing a bit too hard for one Mr. K Jebakumar, who alleges that the IPL performances were inappropriate for women and children (oh won't someone think of the children!).
Mr. Jebakumar, whose shock at all this lewd dancing indicates that he hasn't turned on a television since 1950, believes that women were embarrassed by the likes of Priyanka and Katy Perry.
So what could happen to Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, and their partners in po*nographic dancing? Turns out they could be formally charged under the Indian Penal Code. Hopefully the punishment turns out to be some dance classes.
