RIP Rajesh Khanna...

There was none like him and I wonder if there will be in the times to come...he defined romance for an entire generation...I remember my mother telling me how college girls would go crazy over him...and would write love letters to him in blood...such was his power..and some of the most romantic Hindi film songs were picturised on him.

SInce KTLK has a tradition of song sequences and given the current romantic flavour in the show, I thought it would be nice to have some of Rajesh Khanna's most romantic numbers picturised on them!

Let me go with my favourite - Kora Kaagaz tha yeh mann mera...

Please feel free to recall any Rajesh Khanna songs that you would like to see on this couple! It would make for a wonderful tribute to Bollywood's first ever superstar!

4. chala jaata hoon kisike dhoon me...nd so many songs yaar...RIP Rajesh Khanna ji :(

1) Zindagi ka safar.. hai ye kaisa safar

2) Zindagi kaisi hai paheli hai... kabhi ye hasaye.. kabhi ye rulaye

3) Hume aur jeene ki chahat na hoti... agar tum na hote...

4) Zindagi .. ek safar hai suhana... yahan kal kya ho kisne jana

5) Woh shaam.. kuch ajeeb thi.. ye shaam bhi ajeeb hai.. woh kal bhi paas paas thi.. woh aaj bhi kareeb hai...

6) Zindagi ke safar mein guzar jaate hain jo makam... woh fir nahi aate...

my fav film of him was the classic Anand... grt film... grt actors.. and grt songs..

it has my most most fav songs..

--Zindagi kaise hai paheli haye..

--Kahin door jab din dhal jaaye..

--Maine tere liye hi saat rang ke sapne chune...

the other thy goes nxt on the list is

Safar with Sharmila.. having my yet nother fav song..

--zindagi ka safar hai yeh kaisa safar...

Khamoshi B/W film essentially waheeda rehman film was good too.. with my yet another fav kishore-Rajesh song..

--Wo shaam kuch ajeeb thi..

Anurodh.. is yet another gud film

--Jab dard nahi tha sine mein..

I liked him more as a serious hero rather thn romantic hero.. I liked him best as romantic lead in Aap Ki Kasam and Kati patang!..

My dad was big fan of him.. he even had his hairstyle in college..

Deba, main bas baitke youtube me unhi ki songs dekh rahi hoon...I don't know...I was not a great fan although I loved his songs...but now I feel like something has gone missing...only a hardcore romantic can appreciate the man and his body of work...and Zindagi ke safar mei is one of my alltime favourites too...even the film - Aap ki Kasam!
