Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan, who had earlier shared screen space in the film Satyaprem Ki Katha, recently made headlines for reasons unrelated to their work. An Instagram user named Kartikey Tiwari posted a video recounting an incident involving the two actors during a flight journey, which has since sparked debate online.

In his video, Tiwari explained that the incident took place when he was travelling from Jaipur to Mumbai with his mother and brother. The family had booked business class seats on the flight. Coincidentally, Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan were also on board the same flight, even though their film had released long ago and they were no longer promoting it.

According to Tiwari, the situation began with a minor seating mix up. His mother, unaware of the seat numbers, accidentally sat in Kiara Advani’s seat. When the air hostess informed her about the mistake, she immediately shifted to the correct seat. However, what left a lasting impression on Tiwari was the expression he claimed to have seen on Kiara’s face. He alleged that the actor looked visibly displeased over the fact that a non celebrity had briefly occupied her seat.

Expressing his disappointment, Tiwari said in his video, "That expression of Kiara Advani. Tum toh itni badi actress ho bhi nahi, ek baar Deepika, Alia karti toh main bhi samajhta. Woh expression mere dimag mein chhap gaya. Isliye mujhe celebrity worship culture samajh mein nahi aata".

He also shared his observations about Kartik Aaryan’s behaviour during the journey, describing it as somewhat strange. According to Tiwari, Kartik did not interact much with the flight staff and only spoke to Kiara, choosing to communicate in English.

Tiwari further claimed that after the flight landed, a member of the cabin crew approached the actors for a photograph. However, both of them reportedly declined, saying they were in a hurry, and left without stopping.

The video has since triggered mixed reactions on social media, with users divided over expectations from celebrities in public spaces. So far, neither Kiara Advani nor Kartik Aaryan has issued any response to the claims made in the video.
