Great post Parvathy.
I love Kokila dearly because she brings a new light to the type of women we usually see on TV. She stands up for justice and fights for what she believes in. Yet, she's not perfect either.
It seems that Parag greatly disappointed Kokila as a husband and as a father by being negligent in the past. Ahem and Kinjal may have seen this as well while they were growing up and that's why Parag gets no respect. It's why the kids rarely pay attention to their father. As for Kinjal disrespecting Dhawal, I think that mainly has to do with the fact that she didn't want to marry him in the first place.
I do wish Kokila would lighten up though. Parag has changed and wants to be a part of their lives and I wish she would let him in.
