Jassi is readying Vedika for school. Sitting before the dressing table, she carefully plaits her daughter's hair. Vedika kisses her goodbye and rushes to Armaan, who has just emerged from the bath (looking devilishly hot with wet hair😳), hugging hium before leaving.
Armaan stares after her, then at Jassi. He walks over to the dressing table and says, "Jassi".
Jassi: (staring fondly at his reflection) Kya?
Armaan: (sitting down behind her) Tum roz vedika ke baal banati ho…..aaj mujhe tumhare baal banane do!
Jassi: Armaan! Yeh kaise bachcho jaisi baatein kar rahe ho!
Armu: Aww c'mon Jassi….be a sport! Pleeeeeease?
He stares eloquently at her with the look that is beyond Jassi to resist.😳 She gives in. "Okay!"
He handles her hair lovingly, like something precious. He is apparently enjoying himself as he runs his fingers tenderly through it, combing it and finally arranging it in two plaits.😛
Jassi stares bemusedly at her reflection. "Armaan! Two plaits! Tum kya mujhe bachchi samajhte ho?"
Armu: (pouting) Itni cute lag rahi ho Jassi..! Bilkul ek pyaare baby ki pyaari si mom!
Jassi blushes and bursts out giggling. He holds her shoulders from the back and lays his cheek against hers. They both close their eyes, savouring each other's warmth. ❤️❤️❤️
Raj is pacing the floor of his office, wondering what he can do to help Neha. He doesn't even notice that she is there in the room, staring nervously at him.
At last she timidly asks, "Sir?"
Raj: (startled) Huh? Oh Neha…..mujhe nahin pata tha ki tum yahan ho…..kya baat hai?
Neha: Sir, maine Cinnamon franchise se related saare documents ko chronological order mein laga diya hai aur unki ek copy bhi bana li hai….(hands him a file)
He studies it and thinks, "Yeh toh bina kahe hi saare kaam time se kar deti hai! Koi na koi opening toh honi chahiye Neha ke liye…."
As soon as she leaves, he calls the HR department for a copy of Neha's resume. He studies it intently when it arrives. To his dismay, he finds no special qualifications that would enable him to give Neha a better job profile.
Raj: (to himself) Lekin Neha mein kabiliyat toh hai….agar qualifications nahin hai, toh koi talent toh hoga….koi loophole…..
Beauty and Nandu are passing through the office corridors, happily oblivious to anyone else……when they hear Pari's voice echo maliciously. She talking to Jaggy but the reference is obviously pointed at them.
Pari: Jaggy, tum jaante ho…..Gulmohur kapdo ke alaava, aur cheezon mein bhi fashion set kar raha hai….?
Beauty and Nandu stop in their tracks.
Jaggy: What do you mean, PAri?
PAri: Well………kuch time pehle ek secretary ne apne boss ko successfully apni tarah attract kiya tha…..lagta hai ab wahi sab repeat hone wala hai…..ho sakta hai yeh ek trend hi ban jaye…..
Beauty frowns and clenches her fingers around the file she is holding. Nazneen and Ruby mom, who have overheard, are about to retort but fall silent on seeing Nandu. He motions to Beauty to go on. She looks at him for a moment, then does as he says. But no sooner has she turned the first corner than she pauses and leans against the wall, listening intently.
Nandu: (walking up to Pari) Pari, tumhe kisi ki personal life ke baare mein aise baat nahin karni chahiye!
PAri: (narrowing her eyes) Oh really, Mr. Nandan Verma? Well, toh logon ko bhi apni personal aur professional lives mix nahin karni chahiye….jaise apni secretary ke saath affair…..
Nazneen is about to spring up but Ruby mom clutches her shoulder.
Nandu: (firmly) You're right Pari….personal aur professional lives alag hi rahe toh achcha hai……Nazneen…(turns)….kal se agar Pari office late aaye, aur reason koi "personal problem" bataye, toh Armaan se uski report kar dena……
Without even looking at Pari, he turns and walks off. At the corner he runs into Beauty, who looks at him admiringly. He blushes.
Nazneen and Ruby mom burst out laughing and look mockingly at Pari. Jaggy is nonplussed. Pari pouts, stamps her foot, tosses her hair and stalks off.
The phone rings at the Suri mansion. Puru picks it up. "Hello?"
A female voice at the other end says evenly, "Puru uncle? Main….Meghna bol rahi hoon."
Monday: Angel's birthday is being celebrated.
