Kareena Kapoor's 'Heroine' is for adults only!

Heroine, Madhur Bhandarkar's much talked about film starring Kareena Kapoor in the leading role has been given an 'A' certificate from the censor board.

Madhur Bhandarkar himself broke the news on Twitter.

"As expected got a "A" certificate from the censor board. Countdown begins for the launch of the poster & promo of #Heroine," Bhandarkar posted.

Heroine is touted as Bhandarkar's expose of the film industry. It is being described as a voyeuristic disclosure of what really goes on behind the closed doors of make-up rooms and vanity vans.

The film is based on the life and times of a superstar heroine Mahi Arora, played by Kareena Kapoor.

Arjun Rampal is the leading hero of the film. Supporting roles are played by Randeep Hooda, Shahana Goswami, Divya Dutta and Helen.

Heroine is slated to release in September.

uggh...i wish madhur wasnt the one directing this movie...the guy is overrated with a capital O...i know the film wont be good (looking at his past record)...hopefully, bebo wont dissapoint...
