Well thats the beauty of Ravi Rai's serials. You can empathize with every character and they all seem justified in thier own places. So close to reality. Morally - Anand and Ratna are wrong, but they are but humans who got carried away by their emotions.

I simply love the casting for this serial. Kittu and Simone are just simply wonderful in their roles.

I agree with you, I felt the same for Ratna... Ravi Rai has clearly shown that Ratna is not bad at heart... she is just in a wrong situation. Lets see what happens from now..

Yes, Ratna might not be bad at heart..but sometimes one mistake of a person can ruin many lives and since she did it knowingly, i have no sympathy for her..

but what is it that Ratna was crying for....
in the scene later, they show Anand thinking about his previous birthday where Ratna had made a cake for him and while cutting, she spoke about how she wanted to be his wife and be with him all the time and how that is not meant to be....

Ratna knows that Anand is married and that too to her own cousin. So where is the question of her thinking that she could be or wanted to be married to Anand.

Does love mean that you have a right to do anything you want. She just walked out of his life one day and then the next week, she sends him gifts for his birthday.......

these are just some of the thoughts that crossed my mind. just penned them here for discussion.

Ravi rai has painted a beautiful pic.. being a bohemian character, she is footloose and fancy free without a care for the world.

Agreed. Even though Ratna loves Anand, she knew from the beginning that he was her cousin's husband yet she still go involved with him. She has only herself to blame for this predicament. Ritu does do justice to the character of Ratna but I don't have any sympathy for Ratna either. If she really wanted to make amends, she would still walk out of Anand's life regardless of what happens between Anand & Piya.. just my thought...

You are right. Ideally this is what should happen. But this is fiction and for drama sakes it won't. Anand and Ratna will want to be together and I think he will ask Piya for a divorce. Piya is totally in the right here where as Anand and Ratna are in the wrong. Unfortunately, such stories are getting to be common in real life too. More often then not the husband leaves his wife for the 'other woman'. Ofcourse their excuse for starting an affair always is 'love has no boundaries'. I have no first hand expirience of this, but those who have been in such situations are so overwhelmed by their emotions that they stop caring about what is morally right or wrong and give into their own Wills.

Sadly in this case Ratna betrayed her cousin. So i too have no sympathy for her. If Ratna was not a cousin I still do not think I would have supported her actions but the equations may be a little different. In this case I think she broke the first rule of what a family is about. You care about their welfare and want the best of them whether its your sister or your cousin sister. Not abiding by this she established that she did not care about anyone but her self and hence this cannot warrant sympathy from anyone.

I know it would have been best if Ratna just left Anand but its their love for each other thats tormenting her decision. Although she loves him she is not justified to ask Anand to marry her and make her his wife. I think she asked Anand to marry her as she thinks Piya is not going to accept Anand back in her life as most people and this way although she knows she is guilty of hurting piya she is happy she got her love.
