Rishi Dadichi's sacrifice

Today i was reading in a site that Rishi Dadichi created a huge fire,entered into it and burnt himself and Lord Brahma converted his bones to weapons.I remember when i was small,i had read a different story.In that story,Rishi Dadichi applied honey all over his body and started meditating in a jungle.All the wild animals came to the spot smelling honey and started eating his flesh.After eating all the flesh,only the bones of his body were left and the devatas made a weapon out of his bones.This death is even more pathetic and painful.That's why people call it a biggest sacrifice of mankind.Btw,Many of u must be knowing that Rishi Dadichi's bones are marked as a symbol on the India's highest gallant award Parm veer chakra as "Vajra".😊We should be really proud of him.

Thanx for this post. Rishi dadichi was really a great person. And the actor playing this role has just done a great justice to this character gonna miss him in dkdm.

the vajrayudha used by indra is the most powerful weapon. it has the power of thousand thunders in it. it is made from rishi dadichi's backbone.
after seeing indra in the past episodes i feel he is the most irresponsible person for the post.
