yeah... wine gets older with age... that's what i meant. after reading book 5... i think JKR brought out the human flaws in dumbledore. i mean that i had come to think of him as sum1 with near-divine wisdom and power...

even harry felt that way... in the ministry of magic when voldemort appeared... harry knew he was done for... but once dumbledore arrived... he felt he was safe...

what d'you think? is dumbledore too old now?? or is he just human... like we are!!

Interesting question, Sugar Bun!

Its true; we had this impression of Dumbledore being invincible till book 4 and 5 when Harry notices that Dumbledore looked older than before.

The thing with the books is that they are mostly from Harry's POV. Harry thought Dumbledore was invincible, so we also thought the same way.

However, Prof. D definitely has his own weaknesses and its not his age which is responsible for them. Harry notices clearly for the 1st time in Book 5 that even Dumbledore is not an all-powerful wizard and has some very human faults. Thats when we realize it as well.

To conclude, Dumbledore's age does not affect his power or his wisdom. Only human nature does that.

yeah...nd i was thinking abt if dumble dore is sooo powerful and its tru his character seemed liek invincible..so if he was thaaaat major and the best y couldnt he kill voldemort...but now i relase that even though ofcourse he is one of the best wizards yet like every human he also has flaws..and even he can sumtimes feel sad and tired..cuz like every human being he has feelings anddd unlike voldy dumbledore has a heart too..😊

I agree with you Mystica..... But I still feel Dumbledore did not tell Harry on purpose... I know I'm wrong..........
