Ok now it got aborted but just incase she continues and how long would Mona protect her pregnancy before the world??? I don't think it works like that. I am not sure what the law in India says, but I think you can't decide to abort a child the day you come to know of your pregnancy. I think the law says that there should be some time in between to think your decision through. Beside it is unlikely for a humanbeing to immediatley decide to have an abortion while you are emotionally so caught up. Tani was emotionally going through a lot: unfaithfull BF, unplanned pregnancy, father of the baby, reaction of family, medical difficulties, etc I can imagine that the need to talk to someone close is you is huge!
I also didn't get why Mona got involved! As far as I understand Mona only said wait for 4 more days after which she has time for Tani.Tani was 2 months pregnant and those 4 days could be added to that. I don't think Mona ever had the intention to hide the pregnancy. Atleast not from the family. She wanted time to think with Tani and see what her options are and how they will tell the family. With a lot of wishfull thinking from my side I saw it as buying some time before deciding on anything.
But I agree with you the whole pregnancy track and Mona's role in it was weird/ forced!
