Since there are so many threads bashing Anandi's current attitude (as usual), I thought I'd write an ode to her character and her right to be sad in the current situation.
Ode to Anandi
"O Anandi, Anandi, why are you crying
For a man who is clearly a piece of slime?
Why must you weep and remember the past?"
Your critics keep asking, clearly aghast
"Kyun, kyun, kyun?" they keep on saying,
"Why must your character be so lame!?"
On and on they go with the same old story
Rather like a certain Gauri 😉
They just aren't willing to leave you alone
Do they think you should have a heart of stone!?
It's your divorce, girl - you're allowed to cry
Without incessant asking of "why!?"
So keep your chin up and sign that paper
Then, head held high, return to Jaitsar
And take your time to reflect and heal
And ignore those who protest and squeal
We all know AnSh is inevitable
But we only want it when YOU feel able
So relax, sit back and take a chill pill
And do social work as per your will
And slowly, when you start to feel better
Do look at Mr. Shivraj Shekhar
For a man that eligible, many hearts flutter
But only your name do his lips utter
Understand that this is not pity
It's love - true love - not social duty
But take your time in understanding this
We're in no hurry for your marital bliss
Love yourself and enjoy your life
Shiv will wait through all manner of strife
For when AnSh does happen, screens will explode
Your sizzling chemistry will make brains implode
And then our child bride will finally be happy
And then I bet people will say BV's too sappy
Your critics are truly impossible to please
Yet their number seems to be on the increase 😕
So just ignore them and carry on your way
Cry or laugh; go or stay
Whatever they may say, one thing remains true
