I agree. It should be open and told to all the friends. Less MU's and they're your true friends. Why hide from them/ They aren't going to bury you alive after all. Friends hai.. saath hi denge even if they dislike the girl or boy you are in relationship with.

If a couple is not revealing their relationship status, then there could be some strong reasons. Like if they did yes, entire college has their eyes glues to them, unwanted attention, some comments like, 'it's just infatuation between them', 'how long do you think it'll work?', people get too curious to know about their timetable, even if a your phone comes they expect it to be your girl/boy friend and sharpen their ears and yeah the constant ooohhhs and aaahhhs' wonderful for the ones who enjoy it like ViHa but definitely it's pity for the ones who don't want such attention and remarks.

Hmm Understand your point... But they can at least tell their close friends and then keep it a secret in the group na. Not everyone in the college has to know. Agree, there are some teens who want to know everything about other's life and they think life should revolve around gf/bf once they're in relationship but I suppose everything depends on the situation and kind of people...? Most of the secret relationship end up being a tragedy due to MUs, heart breaks, and what not.

First would like to add that SwaRon have moved on to stage two as per your post and are on a secret relaitonship for now. They call it a trial relationship..but neverthless its a realtionship they are in.

Now coming to whether a couple should keep their relationship secret, it completely depends on circumstances. I believe in the fact that once in a relationship its always better to share it with at least your close friends. Agree that not everyone can handle and enjoy all the eyes on you with million questions about your relationship, but secrecy never does good to a couple.

Said all that, SwaRon being fiction, i would enjoy their relationship to be a secret for some more time. The moments that they share stealing in time from their friends are fun to watch..though not much of this sought have been shown in the present track which is sad and we are already looking in for some major misunderstandings on SwaRon way.

Enough said for now..will try coming back and add more on to it.

Interesting topic Nymphie (Cute eh? If you are irritated, duh!, I don't care!)
Now where were we, yup, relationship, something I cannot in good conscience claim to understand.
One can argue that it's the couples choice, citing reasons like avoiding attention which I believe is valid.
On the other hand, as freinds (putting myself in that shoe) wouldn't you feel you had the right to know?
MU's are never good and precisely to avoid that, it would be better to let people know.
Then again, if the couple believe that their family will not support, even if they trust their freinds with their life, they are justified in keeping mum.
Coz freinds may not brag, but we can't say who overhears us, can we? (Lame point is it?)
So yeah, if the couple are comfortable I think there is no harm in letting the world know.

Great topic for discussion..i actually have been thinking about it for quite some time now..honestly i feel when two people are in a relationship they should atleast share it with their closest friends if not anyone else..because if they are your true friends they will not judge you or your relationship and keep it a secret..just like sharon and swayam have shared the news with rey!But yes in reality mostly secret relationships don't work out and mostly lead to misunderstandings but since this is fiction it's fun to watch two people trying to conceal their relationship from their friends and at the same time cherishing every moment they spend with each other!

great thread tich!!! ur absolutely right, if u r in a relationship with someone that maybe ur friends dislike, but u have 2 tell them the truth after all they r ur friends and they will support u like they support viha and u finally can enjoy ur relationship
