Prologue: Arnav sued Shyam from Raizada Mansion. Anjali broke down badly due to the shocking slaps given by Arnav to Shyam. Arnav has been very tired due to the fight with the goons and now he was fastened in another problem of Anjali's fainting. He phoned the family doctor and having reached and checked her up he instruckted Arnav to take care of Anjali and her baby vigilantly. Arnav however changed his clothes and took a shower and rushed to Anjali's room.
Arnav: Di, please don't cry. Look we all are with you and soon one more member is joining the family so if you will be bothered with the past incident how I'll be able to maintain all these?
Anjali: Chotee you need not to worry. I'm trying to come out of it. But you can't imagine that,
A mighty pain to love it is,
And 'tis a pain that pain to miss;
But, of all pains, the greatest pain
Is to love, but love in vain.

Arnav: Di, I know how it feels. I've also gone through the same when I misunderstood Khushi with others. But di, the more we will discuss about the matter the less we will be able to start a new life. So its been very late tonight to discuss, have your dinner and take a long slumber. I feel it is the best way to stay away from these thoughts. Please try to forget it di like a nightmare.
Anjali; okay chotee, now don't try to be my mother.
Arnav: If mom were there she would have played the same role as mine. But alas! I have to perform the duty.
Arnav became morose.
Anjali:[Thought of changing the topic]Chotee will you make me bore by talking all the night? I'm feeling sleepy so stop talking and good night.
Arnav: Good night di but today I'll stay here. Inform me if you need anything anytime okay? Don't hesitate if I'll be sleeping then.
Anjali: What? You'll stay here? You should not do it chotee, Khushiji will be waiting for you. You can't ignore her to take care of mine.
Arnav: Khushi herself insisted to sleep alone and sent me here to live with you.
Anjali: No, chotee, you should not listen to her. She has done it as she also cares for me but don't ignore her. She has some needs from you too.
Arnav: Okay di, I'm giving in. I'll go after you will sleep. Deal?
Anjali: Okay, deal.
Arnav started to work in his laptop and Anjali closed her eyes to sleep. But she could hardly forget today's incident so soon. All memories of her happile married life were coming in her vision. She needed a great howling to be normal with others. But here is her chotee who has left his wife to spend a solitary night for his di. She needed to send him to his room first. So Anjali started to act like she had fallen asleep. Seeing it Arnav thought of spending a little more time with her di as she may ask for something at night. By the time the thought of Khushi was lingering in his mind.
She must be fallen asleep now. Thought Arnav. I want to spend the time with you but can't left di alone. I'm sorry. He felt guilty.
After about 1 and half hours he decided to leave Anjali's room. He looked at Anjali and was examining if she had slept or not. But Anjali had really fallen asleep in her sobs for the fate. Arnav slowly shut the door from outside and went towards his room.
When he entered in his room he found it to be sank in darkness.
Arnav: Khushi? Are you alright?
He was well known that how much his wife is afraid of darkness. So it is pretty surprising for him that his wife is sleeping in a dark room. So without spending much time he switched the lights on and astonished.
Arnav: Khushi? Where are you?
He could not find her in the room. He feared if she had done anything wrong to herself for today's incident. He rushed to the washroom screeming "Khushi". But she was also not there.
Arnav [murmured]: I just hope she's alright.
Suddenly he found the door to the poolside to be opened. He suspected her to be there. He went there with treamling feet having a lean fear in his mind to lose her.
Entering into the poolside Arnav saw Khushi watching rain y opening a widw window.
Arnav: Oh you were here! Have you any idea that how much I was scared when I couldn't find you in the room? What are you doing at 12.30 PM. Outside?
Khushi turned back and Arnav was shocked once more. He found her to be drenched in rainwater. It struck his mind. Her dreanched body was alluring Arnav for consummation very much. Slowly Arnav went towards her.
Arnav: Khushi why are doing this to me?
Khushi: What am I doing to you?
Arnav: Why are you awake till midnight? You have assured that you will sleep in time.
Khushi: yes I did. But the beautiful rain forced me to break my promise.
Arnav: No, I'm not asking about it. I'm asking that are you wanting the same that I want right now?
Khushi: What? I can't understand.
Arnav smirked and got cozy with her.
Arnav: Oh really? So our closeness doesn't meant to you.
Khushi: Have I told it?
Arnav: So let me ask you for the final time. Do you love me Khushi? Do you feel the same for me? Are you ready to tolerate all my "What the"s for the whole life?
Khushi: I don't love you Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada. I'm saying a truth today.
Arnav gritted his teeth and came a little more closer to her. He held her hand tightly and aksed''Then whom do you love?'
Khushi:[hardly she was able to control laughing] I love my Laad Governor. None else.
And she tried to run away from Arnav as she knew what was gonna happen next. Her Laad Governor would not left her after the prank.
But who could run away from Arnav's hand? He held her hand and pulled her towards him. Her body dashed with his body. He was also semi drenched. It seemed like two thirsty people met water after ages.
Arnav: Never try such pranks on your Laad Governor Khushi. He'll die for sure.
Khushi remained silent and her hands slowly hugged Arnav's body and Arnav started to melt at last. They were so close that they could feel their breathe and heartbeats. This is the point where ice and fire met. Arnav stayed silent for sometime and then he said-
' When I saw you, I was afraid of meeting you.
When I met you, I was afraid of kissing you.
When I kissed you, I was afraid to love you.
Now that I love you, I'm afraid of losing you.
