Good question...I think I meant both the Prem...the one that binds them is the one that died (the Prem that united them and whose death separated them) and the one that hurts them is the one that is alive (the one who symbolizes the end of the relationship of AP and the beginning of a new story)...without any of the Prems, life is incomplete for both Anurag and Prerna...

If you notice carefully, whenever Prem left them love was lost between Anurag and Prerna...it was only Prem's return in their life the relationship between AP improved...
