There are different kinds of amnesia. And I think, the one which Veer has is called, "Repressed memory". This may be due to some trauma, but the memories can be recovered after some time. It was seen when his memory was shown returning partially in the other episode where he remembered Ichcha's face partially. But I don't know whether Veer remember others including Damini, Jogi, Divya, nani. In case, he remembers them, he can get back his memory of Ichcha when he sees Ichcha with Damini. Or when Veer comes to Jogi's house one day (he has to come b'cas Yukta is going to happen anyways) he will see his teacherji with others in the house and may remember the past. He will remember his first meeting with Ichcha where Jogi, Divya, nani, and Damini were also present in Thakur's house.
Anyway, every cloud has a silver lining, and let's hope for the best that Damini moving in with the Thakurs family should turn as a good thing for them. This time, nani's torture should not be shown. Instead, they should show Damini as a bold and courageous woman who will show nani her face instead of sulking in those days when she was a domestic help. Afterall, now she is a successful business woman.
