What Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Ferrari Ki Sawari couldn't do in two weeks; The Amazing Spider-Man has done in three days! The film's opening weekend collections are reported to be in the range of Rs 27 crore net.

Not only in India, but this little master of web affairs, has been weaving his web real well in Hollywood too. The Andrew Garfield-Emma Stone reboot, directed by Marc Webb, reportedly collected a whopping $35 million during its first day in U.S. theaters.

Winning the distinction of being the highest money-spinner ever released on a Tuesday, The Amazing Spider-Man beat 2007's Transformers, which grossed $27.8 million on its first day in Hollywood.

The song's a reworking of the old intro music from the 1960s Spiderman cartoon--used to watch it after school back in the late '60s/early 70s and yeah, it was catchy.
