Hi all.

No offends to anyone, but friends don't you think Jayati and her Choregrapher got less marks i.e 24 (8 , 8, 8) from all the three judges. I simply loved their "Taandav act". Atleast they deserve 27 marks.

It's upto the judges, what they like and what they are looking for..totally subjective evaluation and decision.

In a tandav, you expect to have at least an ounce of classical dance, which this performance did not. Yes, Jayati's expressions were great, but you cannot replace dance with expressions.

I think they used one teensy weensy bharatanatyam adavu, but that was it. And that too wasn't executed well. And the step where Jayati walks with her arms out like a bird wasn't at all graceful. At the end of the performance, what are we supposed to applaud? The fact that she can lift Divakar?
