I think I gave too much credit to the CV's to imagine that they can think beyond their normal realms...Well, I was wrong to have high hopes...This was one of those where I did not want to be proved wrong :(

Alas !! Arjun has to follow Manav's foot steps to satisfy the Mahaantha Queen to the fullest. She should not have any issues with this and will all probability satisfy her to the fullest. Well, I said it too early ...You never know !! She might start comparing the two mechanics now and Arjun might still fall short. Not greasy enough, maybe...😃You see, Arjun will probably be a much COOLER mechanic 😉 than you now who !!

Kidding aside, It doesnt seem to matter if the guy is not so educated (dont know how educated manav is..just assuming not so much if he started out that way) or a savvy, highly educated, smart guy like Arjun. All we can think of is being a MECHANIC !!! I just cannot imagine him under a hood, so to speak...Now, I am really dreading the ARVI track in the future...If ARVI are going to be the second ARMAAN, God help us !! This probably is the reason why Purvi has become the crybaby recently without a spine against her Aai.

I still have some hope left in Arjun, hopefully he wont be the second Manav, atleast he doesnt have a Savita in his life...

As this seems to be inevitable, let us try to see the positive side of this illogica part of it. We get to see more ARVI romantic scenes, maybe ...If this is how it is to be, then I hope that lot more Merecedes, BMW's and Lexus break down on the streets of Mumbai close to Arjun's Garage so he can make his quick bucks 😃

So true dear another Manav in the making to satisfy Mahaanta Queen yuck !!!
I so hope that Arjun doesn't become Manav, coz then someone please save Purvi. And yes indeed Purvi is slowly also becoming a crybaby like Archana which I don't like at all
Maybe just maybe by being a mechanic, Arjun might also land in Sohams office just like happening with Manav and DK
But we should not forget, Arjun has left his family business to prove his love, but he is still the only son DK has, so one day he has to take over his dads business again. He won't remain a mechanic forever
And Arjun indeed has NO Savita in his life or maybe he has : Archana who is becoming like the 2nd Savita, only difference might be that in this case Purvi will get poisoned instead of Arjun

no one can replace manav as the hardworking, humble, charming mechanic.
The cv has totally lost their ideas.

You are right.. This is the last thing we wanted..Apparently, either they have run out of ideas or it is to impress Arachana. Do they think that she doesnt know any other professions where you can be hard working and also make some money?? hmmm...And yes, we definitely dont want to replace Manav at all...Arjun is destined for a different life altogether...

There are two open tracks to bring Soham in now. From the Precap it looks like Purvi is also looking for a job. Either she ends up working for Soham or Soham's car goes to Arjun's garage...:)

Whatever the CV's come up with, there is no comparison between Arjun and Manav. A prince can become a pauper, but a pauper can never be a prince !! ( i am not referring in terms of money...)

The point here is not just the very limited imagination of the CVs, it is also the credibility of Arjun as a mechanic.

What does he know about the innards of a car? He would never have bothered to look under the hood of a car, never having had either the time or the inclination for it. In that 'masala chai for Purvi in the rain' scene they showed recently, when the chauffeur says that something is wrong and he will look into it, Arjun shows no interest at all in the proceedings, and is merely impatient about the delay.

So now, unless they claim that he did a course in auto repair at college for fun, I cannot see how he is to cope. He will be thrown out on his ear pronto.

The other side of this is that there is practically no white collar job that Arjun can get without any resume or documents to back it up. So it will have to be a blue collar job.

I can bet that Ovi's car will be breaking down every day from now on, once she finds out where he is working. Purvi of course does not have a car, but perhaps she can take him a hot lunch in a thermocole tiffin carrier. As predictable and pedestrian as it can be, alas!

Laurie, Archana, I was quite enchanted by the idea of this being a voyage of self-discovery and self-realisation for Arjun. But now I cannot quite see what Arjun is going to discover about his inner self in a garage, and while being bitten to death by mosquitoes in that kholi. Well, the Buddha starved himself to skin and bone in pursuit of the truth, so perhaps our Arjun can surely donate some blood to the mosquitoes of the Karanjkar chawl. It is all as idiotic as it can get. Another 1000 episodes of this kind, NO way!

If i were you, i am more afraid of Ovi and punni more..not archana. You know very well why archana did this..you probably feel the same (not trust Arjun) if you in her shoe. just because you want ArVi to be together doesn't mean you forgot what arjun did to both Ovi and purvi. This guy is a coward..to ovi he gave her hope he will marry her before coming to India..but then he fall in love with Purvi but didnt tell Purvi about his commitment to Ovi..and worst didn't even tell Ovi about his relationship with purvi. Even after the engagement. He cheated both girls. And both girls are archana daughter whatsoever.
If a guy did this to your daughters..i bet you also lost your trust in him..yes?
Don't get me wrong..i'm also ArVi fan but don't want Arjun get away from this so easily. He responsible for all this mess and need to pay for it. Thanks to archana..he has this golden opportunity to prove his love for Purvi.
Sooner or later we know archana will accept ArVi..
But the biggest threat to ruin ArVi relationship come from not her..but Punni and maybe Ovi..and savita. They will cause more trouble to ArVi.
When that time come..guess who is in the front row protecting and supporting arVi...?

Jyothi, We all know that this is coming.. we knew this last week.. why didnt we start that possible career for Arjun thread last week..I very much wanted him to be a Marketing guy (medical rep or call center guy or even a car sales guy would do..) I can never picture Arjun/RD as a mechanic. I think Ekta has Sets for a Mechanic from PR 1 so she may reuse stuff.. (cost cutting!!!!) Prob. RD would have favored this mechanic job role compared to ARJUN DK role so that he can get away from three layer clothing. Now he can even wear shorts.
