I thought about TPS's dialog to Lax claiming her being pure as rain water. As a person she is a very good by heart. She is straight forward, doesn't want to hurt anybody, she truthful and honorable. I agree to that. That could have been used to compare herself with Bhu. But what was used for the justification sounds ridiculous to me.

A husband deserts his wife goes and happily lives with another women and has kids. If the wife stays alone being faithful to her eloped husband without finding another partner, then she is as pure as rain water. What is wrong in her finding another guy if he is a wonderful, great person who really loves her. If at all she finds does she loose her purity. Does she transforms from rain water to corporation water?

OK so Bhu is a sakadai... she left the life she got and snatched TPS life. What is Lax? Did he not leave the life he had and spoiled MM's and TT's life by taking away Bhu from him. Then isn't he a sakadai too. Why does TPS needs a life with this sakadai?

Total double standards in the story line and dialogs...

Viswai, I guess the logic TPS used is simple. What she said is, 'naan muraippadi kalyanam pannindaval; bhuvana murai thavari vandaval.' That way, isn't she pure as rain water? And Laxman comparing her with Bhuvana really is painful for her. There is nothing wrong with her, if she had married another man after she had divorced Lax on charge of desertation. Did she chose to be faithful to her eloped husband that is why didn't marry again? She could have been disgusted to marry again after her experience with Laxman. Probably TPS is not in charge of herself when she came to live in Lax's house. She let her being forced by her mom and for helping Thulasi she is doing that. Why is she not asserting to her mom?
