GURU

Gururbrahmaa gururvishnuh gururdevo Maheswarah |
Guruh-saakshaat parabrahma tasmai shrigurave namah ||

The Guru in the Hindu tradition is looked upon as an embodiment of God himself. For, it is through his grace and guidance that one reaches the highest state of wisdom and bliss. "My salutations to the Guru who is Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara. The Guru is Parabrahma incarnate"

The guru-shishya tradition is the transmission of teachings from a guru (teacher), to a shishya (disciple). In this relationship, subtle and advanced knowledge is conveyed and received through the student's respect, commitment, devotion and obedience. The student eventually masters the knowledge that the guru teaches.

Bhagvad Geeta is the result of the teachings given to Arjuna by Krishna.

Classification of gurus:

Guru Poornima or Vyasa Poornima is day of birth of Maharshi Veda Vyasa.

who divided vedas into four and organized them. he is also credited to be author of ashtadasha(18 ) puranas.

He is believed to be an anshaavatar of sri hari vishnu.

Thanks for reminding Shruti. Even I have learnt Guru Brhma... the very first mantra in early school days.😊
Guru Purnima is tomm, on Tuesday, I have posted it early, so that we remember it.
Our shivji too in his Dakshinamurty form, gave knowledge to Sanata Kumars. Many of our scriptures are the result of the convo between Shivji- Parvati. So he is our Guru & God both.😊

Gurupurnima is falling on 3 rd july of this year .A most revered auspicious day for Hindus , Jain's and Buddhist followers all over the world .

The role of Guru is very significant in every walk of human life.
A famous, humorous as well as meaningful story discussed on both Vaishnavate and Shaivate gurus .
Thats Once Shree Vishnu shared his agony with his consort ,that after being a human(Ram avator and Krishna avator ) for so many years ,when i reached Vaikundh by accomplishing my mission there(earth ) ,i was all alone surrounded by devatas and not by revered human souls that time . But when Ramanujar and Namazhlvar(Both revered Guru's who spread vaishnavism to great extent ) entered the Vaikundh they are fully followed by all great human souls filled with radiance and humbleness who to used to chant their (names of their gurus and Narayan ) placed their foot inside my abode .

For that Ma lakshmi replied "That is Mahima of a "Guru"," They can easily show the way for Moksha with their constatnt guidance on their disciple , which results in fruits .
Narayan too accepted that he failed but Ramanujar and other supreme guru's succeed in this process more than him.

The same is applicable to Great Guru " Shri Adi Shankrachariya" too in their version.

I place my humble Salutations for my Guru who is omnipresent every where by showering all his blessing towards his disciples.

Vanadhi, nice post👏
"Guru Govind dono khade kako lagu paya
Balihari Guru aapaki jisne Govind diyo dikaye."
Guru is palced above God, because it's he, who has showed the path of God, by enlightening souls.
