Hi just giving an update on the Starlite program.
It was a cute segment. I am just highlighting the parts that showed interviews with PG the other parts of the segment was about the businesses in the Oak Tree shopping center.
PG and VS flew in this morning from India did a ribbon cutting ceremony to open the festival. Fans happy to see them. Showed fans taking picture with them.
Host asked how was it their first trip here Vishal said it was comfortable for PG because she was sleeping most of the time and he was awake and taking care of her because everyone was asking him about her and does she need anything. She said that Vishal is charming and the air hostess where asking him all the time if she need or want anything.
Host asked what they thought of the festival
PG replied that it was bigger and better that they thought of.
VS said it was different than what they had pictured bigger, better and more beautiful than they were expecting.
Host asked if they felt the same nostalgic as in India they said yes because it felt like they were among there own people.
They showed them in a jewelry shop PG was wearing a bracelet the host asked how she liked it she said it was very beautiful. VS also had a bracelet on and he says he normally doesn't buy jewelry but he will buy this one. They showed them with a little boy and PG hugged the little boy.
They showed them meeting and signing autograph for fans.
They gifted her a new outfit she was surprised and grateful. The host asked if she liked the color it was red and she had worn a red outfit so she said of course.
Interview with them about their view about America.
VS: always wanted to come here and is enjoying there stay and the love they got from everybody.
PG: everyone is lovely and nice and it is great to know how everyone is watching the show religiously
On being a Soap star:
VS: loves being an actor, it's hard work when he first started sometime he worked 32 to 40 hours, and he ended up fainting on the set, but the love they get from the fans makes it worth it.
PG: She echoed his views and also said when she goes to the mall and she is recognized she feels so good and it is such a nice feeling.
When questioned about having time for a relationship
PG replied only after the shoot. You can not let your personal life die down.
Someone asked that since Pratigya is pursuing her law degree will we see a leap, she said she is committed to the show and she doesn't know about whether that will happen.
How did they get into the business
PG: had a profile on FB with a picture they show got in touch with her if she wanted to act in their show, they talked to her father, she went to Mumbai had a audition got finalized worked on it for 9 months a month after the show ended she got Pratigya.
VS: after graduation he was an event planner and he got called for an interview he wanted to get his mom's permission first and she told him to go.
The host then mentioned about an actor taking off 45 days to shoot a bollywood film what would they do if they were offered a film and they had to take days off.
VS said that all actors always want to take the next step but both PG and VS said that they are committed to the show and only when the show finishes will they think of any other ventures.
I enjoyed the interaction between PG and VS you could tell that they are friends.
Both PG and VS are very sweet.
