hw many of u believe in these rituals which r most of the times forceful for women and give secondary treatment to women like touching feet of husband, cover ur head with pallu in front of elders etc...sorry i don't remember other rituals.but u can add more here.😛
bcs i am against all this
1. they r giving secondary treatment and create distance between husband and wife...bcs obviously it creates differences of many things like thoughts, behavior,ur status in family and many more...
2. they snatches freedom, selfrespect, identity of women
u r free to express ur views but
one humble request don't create war here...try to explain ur views calmly 😛

I guess it depends on the family. Some families are very traditional whereas others are not.

ya there r two types of families
1.traditional,brod minded (mostly joint families)
2.modern,open minded (mostly nuclear)
ya but many times joint families r also open minded and nuclear r brod minded...it depends on peoples point of view abt hw to live life...

Personally i am against these traditions you mentioned, but many orthodox families do follow them and they cannot change overnight! But with every generation these customs are evolving too! Some families have evolved and given up such customs but many others are still in the process. Every community has a way of life and follows it till it works for them! The day they feel burdened by them those customs are slowly given up! Cheers
