That logic may sound like an idea but it will end with final curtains for the show. The only reason this show has weathered through some tracks is Kriya as a couple that brings in their TRPs. That's just the way it is..
I was wondering if POPS would care to show that a girl doesn't have to be married in today's India esp. after a couple of attempts. A broken engagement, an illegal marriage, a convicted husband are enough for a woman to step back and question if she really needs to be/stay married just for the sake of claiming she too has a husband when the marriage is a disaster for the family.
She should have dumped Tam when he first abused her. POPS have shown a little of how abused women cover up for their spouses. Whether she stayed married to Tam after seeing his real face is to save face with the family and the community is a question. The marriage was a compromise since then so she didn't have to be faulted for breaking up her second marriage too.
From one angle, she set things in motion by asking Kriya to NOT HELP Tam with a loan as he needs to make his own way in the world. A good expectation of her spouse. But the already unstable and sinster man went nuts and thirsty for revenge he made both families pay a dear price with Adarsh's life.
