Mohan megha love journey-a review

These past so many days, all of us have been speculating about,,analyzing, and passing our own views about Mohan and Megha, and the realization of their love for each other. And the sudden and rapid detoriation of the story line ,direction etc served to increase our frustrations and disappointments.and we were not a happy lot..we have to admit that?and as response to our pleas and disapproval, it seems that the CV's are making efforts to repair the damage caused and to tread the good old path..But many of us are still wary, and rightly so,because the team who messed up things so much is still very nuch there..

Lots of posts came in different threads in the past few days analyzing Megha's love, Mohan's love..all of them were very good..it is amazing how many perspectives we get after reading all the posts..and each one was better than the other..I spent a lot of time reading all the relavant posts all spread out in different places and came up with this idea..whay not a separate thread where we can write in detail about both megha's and mohan's discovery of their mutual love, their jouney so far,how their past loves have influenced their present jouney etc etc ?.this has been in my mind so much that unless I do it ,I won't have peace of mind..hence i am leaving aside all my work except the most imp ones,to do this post.

Here I am going to not only write about my view points..but at the I am also going to include quotes from relavant posts made by others in relation to this. .So this is going to be one very long post and I request you all to take breaks in between and read this..And I also have to take breaks in between.

MOHAN'S LOVE JOURNEY.

Mohan Batnagar..an enigmatic personality..here I would like to give an extremely brief description of him..as many have described him before, childlike, yet mature; caring yet nonchalant.. ;shrewd yet clumsy; cynic yet a pucca romantic at heart; responsible yet care free; the descriptions are endless..so I will stop with these. This wonderful character whom we all have come to love so much..so much so that his agonies become our agonies, his joys make us rejoice and jump with joy, his apprehensions make us apprehensive. Is he just a character in a daily TV soap??I wonder many a times..for me he is someone very close to me...whose welfare matters to me a lot, about whom I am very concerned about .I can continue about how he affects me..for pages together. But my purpose here is to portray his journey of love as I see it. There may be many other perspectives which is not evident to my eyes, I would love to know about them from you people.

There are lots of similarities in Mohan's love journey and Megha's love journey, but more than similarities ,there are differences as well and they are in fact more.

Like Megha, for Mohan also, this is not his first love..he has loved before, and was in love for a very long time, and passionately so with an all consuming desire to possess..from what we have seen and heard. But it was an unfulfilled love, so to say. Rasmi rejected him at the end and chose her career and a more classy life instead of a life with him..shattering him. It took him a very long time to recover from it.He became a total cynic, at least to the outside world..but even then the mere mention of Rasmi was enough to plunge him to a melancholic and irritating mood..Then came along Mrs Vyas aka Megha .with whom he never could get along, right from the beginning..

When did he start feeling for her in a positive way? When was that first turning point? I think it was when he saw her struggling to learn typing by practicing at the typewriter at home.He started feeling respect for her since then..and he started noticing small small details ..like how she was always optimistic, how she was laughing and playing with her kids,her optimistic view about love. He noticed her answers during Dimpy questionnaire. And without him realizing, his feelings for her grew...he couldn't put a name for it .

The next turning point was when he realized on Holi day how he had wronged her and Amar .he vowed to himself that he will redeem his wrong..from that day onwards, whatever she said or did failed to irritate him as before?and he was on the look out to help her whenever possible..

Yet another turning point was when Prateek started to misbehave with Megha...Mohan started having strong protective feelings towards Megha and was always on the watchout His efforts were not to get her appreciate him no selfish motive like that. In fact they were criticized by Megha. But he never stopped being protective...even at that time he could not define that it was Love that he felt though Guru's ma baap kahanis did have him thinking about his growing feelings for Megha . In fact Prateek served as a major catalyst to build up his feelings. As prateek's antics grew,his protectiveness and feelings for megha also grew..and though he couldn't or did not dare to admit to himself he started feeling love towards her. In fact he did not recognize it was love because it was so unlike the love he had felt for Rasmi..

And one of the most important turning point was when Megha finally understood his motives when he rescued her from Prateek's hands. Her remorse.turned into intanst trust as well, and from that moment he became her best and most trusted friend.And she promised him that when she gets the opportunity, she will also help him out as he did ..after that his feelings for her became stonger and deeper.and the way he was smiling,hanging on to her words..that adoring expression on his face..outside the mohalla..when she was laughing,enjoying the trick he had played with renu I have watched that scene again and again and still want to watch it .His love and adoration for her was so purely evident on his face Indu,seeing that while passing by in the car,remarked that after Rasmi,it was the first time she hd seen him laughing and happy like that. In that split second he also realized that before he concealed it and replied his mother in his usual nonchalant way. Probably he was afraid to explore it further.

And then came the next turning point..which ended in his confession to himself and to Megha.Mohan accidently meets Rasmi in the super market..because it was so unexpected he was least prepared for that..and he was rather tongue tied.apparently they had not resolved matters between them before she left India and may be he must have expected at least in one corner of his heart that she might come back..who knows? Any way we won't dwell into that now.. he was in total confsion in seeng her,and did not know how to react even when rasmi was talking to him in a most insulting way..He got the shock of his life when Megha stepped in and cooly anounced to Rasmi that she was Mrs.Batnagar..The poor guy did not know what was happening..And the next day when rasmi wanted them to meet her at the open house restaurant..he actually dissauded Megha from accepting that.not because he did not want her to be Mrs .batnagar atleast for a while and at least as part of acting,but because he did not want to cause any problems for her .And the way she answered Rasmi's questions and taunts?his eyes said it all..his feelings increased for her by heaps and bounds ..which left him overwhelmed..and he was trying to sort it out and understand what exactly was happening to him,while watching Megha on the terrace laughing with jiji.--When guru came and asked him.- bhaiya, eh kya ho rahahai,he replied-wahi mein bhi samachne ka koshish karraha hum.?.The farm house scenes, the confession to himself that yes, he loved Megha..all were part of that understanding process..And he realizsed that he was no longer affected by Rasmi, that Megha was his present and that he wanted Megha to be his future as well.[though the final closure came at Rasmi's engagement only]

But as he said, he was afraid to tell it out to her because his fear of losing her and her friendship was much greater than his joy of possessing her. He knew that it will not be easy for Megha to accept his love with so many restrictions binding her..he wanted them to be friends at least.But he was forced to confess because he cornered him about going back to rasmi..seconds after the confession,he realized that he was going to lose her friendship also and the tried to salvage it by taking back his confession..But still the damage was done And more than that ,restrictions imposed by both the families also affected their friendship adversely.

And then came the Amar investigation, the Indore trip ,and finally clearing of amar's name.During the Bhopal trip,Mohan realized the extent of love Megha must have had for Amar and he was aware of his imperfections for the first time..And he realizsed that no one could take Amar's place in Megha's life..And true to his nature, he did not want to also.He wanted to create his won place in her life without encroaching upon Amar's place.When Megha tried to stop him from leaving the mohalla..he threw all caution to the wind and confessed his love for her again admitting that this is his truth and he did not plan to run away from it anymore.After that he was in full romeo mode..which ultimately ended him getting slapped .He was frustrated beyond measure with her about her unwillingness to accept her feelings at least to herself..about her unwillingness to let go of the past and move forward.

In between came the writing of the letter..the words of the letter is a clear evidence of Mohan's pure unadulterated,selfless and almost divine love for her.I wont go into the details of the letter and side track. The thing is that he wants her to be happy and smiling always..he has seen it at the farmhouse..he wants her to be like that..if she can find that happiness with someone else also,he does not mind. But the thing is he knows he has the power to make her happy..to bring her joy. He knows with surety that he can give megha the happiness that she truly deserves..And that is why he was so very frustrated that she was still rgidly clinging to her past, refusing to even acknowledge to herself that she also loves him..Poor mohan,..

And the gun shot and events preceding and succeeding that.I do not want to talk much about this as these were hopelessly distorted by the CV's .and I am not going to make any assumptions of my own as well.I am going to pretend that it never happened, as it did not serve much purpose,at least according to me.

Megha agreed to 2^nd marriage because it was Amar's last wish..according to the letter which they are presuming was written by Amar. Due to various mu, Mohan thought that Megha agreed for marriage because she realized her love for him at last..And when he heard her reasons for not agreeing to marry him ,more than hurt, it was sadness that he felt. Sadness that she does not have enough courage to face her real feelings, sadness that there is nothing more he can do to convince her?.because, whatever she has said,whatever she has did has not been enough to convince him that she does not love him..He still firmly believes that she loves him ,and cares for him a lot .He never has had any doubt about that.

Mohan had embarked on a love journey long back, holding Rasmi's hand. Rasmi left him and he journeyed alone for along time,hiding his pain and trying to fight his loneliness?he never found fulfillment with Rasmi..she left him before that..Then he met megha..and his love for her is in a totally different dimension..She is directly in front of him now.

He wants to join hands with her and make the rest of the jouney of their lives together..discovering their love for each other,finding immense joy from it,sharing all the happiness and sorrows that life may bring them,sharing responsiblites, supporting each other,and nurturing each other. That is what he wants and he has expressed his desire to her..but she is not willing..even though he realizes that she also desires it.

Now what will happen? Will they go their separate ways? Or will they join hands and souls and walk together discovering each other and their love for each other and the joy and happiness it can bring..not only to themselves but to others around them also.For Megha can bloom once again and blossom fully only with Mohan's love.And Mohan will also be able to polish and express parts of his personality which he himself does not know about,only with megha's love and suport.

A major hurdle to their future journey together is Mohan's mother..Even if Mohan comes to know about it,and confronts his mother it is not going to be enough...because megha will not agree to marry him without Indu's blessings .Now how can this be accomplished? We have to wait and watch..

I honestly do not know whether you will have the patience to read all what Ihave written.I did not intend it to be so long, but once I started,I could not stop myself..hope it makes at least a little sense..

I will write the post about Megha's jouney of Love after a break..and will update it later.that is if you still want me to do it, after reading this long post.
