Can some please clear that for me.. I don't understand.. Y he is doin sharrdh now . .shouldnt he have done long time ago . Since armpits death. And wit is big deal of doing it.. Y yash father told him he can't do it.. Isn't people this ritual in India to make death person soul in peace.. Can some one tell me what is yash proving...

Its done every year during the death anniversary, In AarYa marriage Yash has given shraddhanjali to Arpita his dead wife and now that he has remarried he cannot do the shrad thing... therefore in yesterdays episode his father does not allow him from performing the shrad but Yash is adamant as he feels that since his love for his first wife is still the same there is no reason not to do the shrad. Hope it makes sense!!!

In the remarriage a small ritual is done by the widow or widower, which denotes that now is the start of your new married life and any attachment to the first partner (who has expired) ends here. He/ she will only exist in memories and has no place in your new marriage. The new partner is now your soul mate and his or her well being is your prime concern.This is a new chapter for you!

It is also a request to the soul of the dead wife to bless the new union and to move on if the soul is anyway attached to partner who is alive! This is a part of the Hindu ideology which teaches us a way of life!

both yash and arti consider that arpita is yash's wife.. arti only calls herself as yash's kid's mom and not as yash's patni... so yash is doing arpita's shard on her death anniversary..

I agree arthi still dont declare her as yash's wife so she do give her support to yash.
