"What the!!!"
"Were you even planning on knocking?"
"I've been standing here for the whole of five minutes waiting for you to ring the bell but you clearly love the look of our front door because you never did!!"
"If you knew I was standing outside why the hell didn't you open the door"
Khushi merely shrugged "mehhh... it looks nicer when people ring the bell and then I open it. Mom said it looks weird and I startle people when I open the door before they even ring. Which brings me back to my first question were you even planning to knock?? What the hell were you doing standing outside? I have been waiting for you to ring the bell. I'd have then taken my sweet time and opened the door but you never rang. So I finally lost my patience and opened the door" she said all this in one breath. Man that girl can talk!!!
"How did you know I was standing outside??" Arnav asked to change the topic.
"My bedroom is just above the door so I can see who comes in and goes out"
"Why am I not surprised!!"
"So why are you here??"
"Well.."
"First come inside na" she practically pushed him inside and took him to the living room.
"Now tell me why are you here??"
"umm I told you I'd buy you that book so I brought it for you. Arnav Singh Raizada never backs out of his word. I told you I'll buy it for you so here it is"
"you actually remembered and brought this book for me??"
"well like I said I never back out from my word"
"that is the sweetest thing anyone did for me. Thanks"
"Did you hear what I said? I only did it because"
"yeah I heard I heard. Arnav singh Raizada never backs out from his word. I just chose to ignore it"
"How can you simply ignore anything. How is that even possible??"
"I don't know when I don't like anything I just point blank forget about it. It's a gift"
"How the hell are you still single??"
"I'm crazy thats why"
Suddenly "Khushi whom are you talking with?"
Arnav pulled Khushi and closed the door so that they were outside "Was that Di??"
"haan, Di and Jiji are here why?"
"Are you kidding me... if Di sees me at your house she'll think we are having an affair... lets go from here"
he pulled her but Khushi didn't budge. "I can't"
"why?"
"because today ladkewale are coming to see me. Thats why jiji and di are here"
They both looked at each other simultaneously. After an awkward five minutes Arnav spoke first "Oh well congrats. Hope you like him. "
"Thanks"

"Diii"
"kya huya chote?"
"Today is Sethi's daughter's wedding right?"
"haan"
"Are you planning on going??"
"haan but why are you asking?"
"Who else is going?"
"Me and payal. Nani is not feeling well so she won't go"
"Anyone else??"
"Who else will go?? You asking about Aakash?? No he has a meeting right"
"Yes he is busy. Di you are looking ill. Payal would be busy with the kids. You'll be all alone"
"No I won't be alone. Khushi is also going. And why do you think I'm ill. I'm fine. What has suddenly happened to you?"
"No you look pale to me. I'll go with you. I don't feel like letting you go alone"
"chotee tumhe huwa kya hai. Pehle to khabhi hamari saath koi party mein jane ke liye jid nehi ki tumne. main bilkul thik hoon and I've payal and khushi to give me company"
"still I insist on going with you"
"fine by me if you wish to come"

"Kya baat hai di, three parties in two weeks. How did you manage to bring him here"
"I didn't, he insisted on coming himself. He is worried about my health"
Khushi inwardly smiled. Anav loves his sister so much. He'd make a great husband well minus his affairs. He had herself experienced his caring side right. He is good looking, handsome and an charmer. But he'll never probably settle down.
"Hi thinking about me"
Khushi jolted out of her thought "Oh hey, what are you doing here"
"well I came here to meet you obviously and I must say you look breathtaking"
"thanks"
"isn't that Raizada standing with your sister. Are you guys related?"
"yes he is my sister's jeth."
"oh. So you haven't yet provided me with an answer"
"I told na Rohan I need some time to think. Give me a week"
"Fine but can we talk until then?"
"sure"

Arnav knew for a fact that Khushi's family has already tried to link her up with a dozen boys and all of them ended unsuccessfully. This one probably ended like that also. Who would in their right mind marry Khushi!!! He was sure the guy probably ran screaming from there. He chuckled to himself. Bechare!!
"They look very cute togather hai na di"
"haan, so what did Rohan say?"
"It's an yes from his side. He said he has never met a girl like khushi. He said she is a puzzle that he'd definitely love to solve"
"aww thats so cute. He is a great guy. Whats Khushi's answer?"
"she hadn't given a reply yet. She said she needs some time to think"
Arnav couldn't help but eavesdrop into payaal and anjali's conversation. He was flabbergasted.
He felt restless but what could he do. He couldn't marry her... well not that he wanted to and Khushi would never marry him. Especially if she knew the facts.

"Khushi"
"Oh hey Arnav"
"what are you doing standing all alone"
"looking at the stars. Aren't they beautiful"
"yeah s no more midnight adventures"
"no we have burnt all the pictures. Now Josh can't blackmail La anymore. I need to go Mom is probably searching for me"
"ok bye"
Khushi started leaving but suddenly turned around "Arnavji"
"yeah"
"thanks for everything. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have been able to do this on my own"
You are welcome" Arnav said giving her his warm smile.
Khushi left from there quickly. She could sense herself falling a little for him. It was utter madness. Why choose a path where your heart will only get broken? Didn't he tell her himself he'll never marry. Didn't she know he was the biggest flirt ever?

Khushi exited the house making sure no one was following her. She was wearing a dupatta that was covering her head and she was wearing sunglasses.
Arnav was shocked watching from afar. What is the crazy girl doing now!!
Khushi took a cab avoiding her car. Now Arnav had to follow her!! His curiosity getting the better of him.
"Did she have a secret boyfriend whom her family didn't approve of."
He didn't like the idea one bit.
Arnav had to get at the bottom of this.
