Justcan't get over this last part & dialouge...
i saw it so many times...
loved the firm expression on Arjun's face

he was like...jab pyar kiya toh darna kya😍...yest his dial had real meaning...

"aab aaji jag jaye yaa mohalla"..

same he was like yest...i don't care for the deshmuck clans😆

I think more the thappads, the firmer the answer was.. it was like "OK, fine...whatever here u go..." with a dont care attitude..bec. i think manav wasnt listening to what he was trying to say, so he just blurted it out...😊

I think it works for us, though 😃

Dear Ashu,

It is an excellent post. Even those who did not get to watch the episode for whatever reason can now practically 'see' the most important segment!

Arjun, at the end, was almost shouting. I wonder what he and DK will do next. Walk out with dignity, I hope, after having shielded Archana from her beloved patidev's proximate attentions.

Next, I hope Arjun does not do a Sulochana and tell Purvi about her baba roughing up her aai. There is no saying what the silly girl would do next to try and patch up their so-called pavitra rishta once again.

Dear Shyamala,

Perhaps if Arjun does tell Purvi about her dearly respected Baba roughing up her Aaie, then maybe he (Manav Baba) will no longer be on that pedestal for Purvi...and she will see him for all his human failings and all that he is not...

My dear Abhi,

This would of course be the logical thing to happen. But here we are not talking logic. We are talking obsession: Purvi's at least 12 year old obsession with reuniting her aai and her baba. NOTHING will be allowed to get in the way of that and she will do whatever it takes to make it come true : remember what she tells Sachin at the engagement ceremony?

One part of this is the (still ongoing) attempt to give up Arjun to Ovi so that the Manav-Archana relationship is not clouded by Purvi's with Arjun. Another is to idolise her baba, and believe that he can do NO wrong; thus all of Sulochana's warnings about how Manav has treated Archana just go into one ear and out the other for Purvi.

So, when she is told that her beloved Manav baba has almost beaten up her aai, her first reaction will be to blame herself for being the cause of it all: but for her Arjun would not have ditched Ovi, Manav baba would not have got furious, and he would not have manhandled her aai. So, it is all her, Purvi's fault. Not her baba's, you see. In fact, I am pretty sure Archana will think the same thing.

This is similar to the beaten woman syndrome, where the abused woman is convinced that it is her own fault that she is beaten by her husband.

How true Shyamala, well said...yes Purvi will think so...as you rightly describe here...that she is the crux - the jadd- of all problems created now...😔

Apt analogy to the beaten women syndrome...sad but so true...

When you say Archana will think the same- meaning that the fault is Archana's or Purvi's? I am so worried about where Purvi is headed...but also waiting to see DK step in and take his son and leave from the Deshmuck's house and chawl...also as posted by someone, wonder how this will impact the business relations/partnership; and working dynamics between Manav and DK and Arjun...if only people let Arjun and Purvi explain their side of things, without first just resorting to thappads, wouldn't that all be too logical and not fit for the soaps and drama which make it a soap...

Looks frm precap before Manav finishes his investigation with Arjun, that 1 line of Archus confession will hit more...

& obviously Purvi will Blame herself for this situation... Arjun will b tired of telling her to stop blaming herself... Now I want Arjun to give her proper hug & console this poor girl... She needs someone to... Now Archana will take the wrath & keep on crying more...
