Hey Guys,
I know, like me, all of you must be missing Sajda and RanYa like hell. So, I thought I could start a thread where we could post and talk about some of our most favorite RanYa Scenes! This way, we could spend our days talking about what wonderful RanYa memories and moments we do have to watch, as opposed to talking about all that we could have had...😕
I will start with my most favorite scene, the one that made me start loving RanYa and Sajda to the core! 😳
This is the scene when Aaliya is searching for her Daijaan, where the blast happens, and Ranveer also shows up on the site, to find out more about the blast.
Now, the way this was done is absolutely magnificent. Not only are we seeing a delicate moment between RanYa, but we are seeing Aaliya's realization of the importance of the mission she has been offered, and we are seeing the face of terrorism in India,... all in one scene.
It begins with Aaliya managing to get past the guard of police force blocking people from getting to the site of explosion,.. and entering the chaos, and we see that Ranveer soon follows. Aaliya is bewildered and getting pushed by the mobs, and Ranveer is running to the blast location in the opposite direction of the mob, following Aaliya's path.
I really felt that this is symbolic for RanYa's journey. Aaliya fighting her way through terrorism, and Ranveer running close behind her, as her support. The way Ranveer is pushing through the mob, is also symbolic for his fight and his passion.
This portion of the scene also showcases the chaos, frustration, and fear that terrorism sets through India, ... that was shown through the mobs, and when Aaliya falls, the mob is too lost in their own mess to bother that she is helpless on the ground. This is what terrorism creates, ... fear and confusion.
When Ranveer sees Aaliya on the ground,.. and the track begins to play in the background... Its probably the most amazing enactment of rescue I have ever seen on Indian Television. The fact that Ranveer, in the midst of chaos,... recognizes and runs to Aaliya's rescue at a distance, is amazing. I LOVED this. And holyyy, the way he picks her up!!! LIKE A FEATHER. *sigh. 😍
I feel like this was also an indication of their growing relationship... where Ranveer has the right to pick her up without her consent,... and has the right to be there for her, and help her in her time of need. Just brilliant. This was also shown as the scene continues, as he carries her out of the mob to a taxi,... and Aaliya is telling him to let her find Daijaan,... and he says no way.
Towards the end, Aaliya is in awe as she sits in the taxi,... not just because she feels a bond with Ranveer, but more so because she realizes that she has the opportunity to change, and stop this mob and chaos she saw due to a bomb blast... And at this point. She makes her decision to say yes to the mission.
Beautiful scene. and my absolute favorite!!! <3 <3 RanYa are breathtaking,... but in totality, this scene says a lot. Enjoy watching!!
