Manav - Archana... nope not even close
Varsha and her husband...NNNO
Vandana and her husband...NNNooo
Third sister of archana forgot her name and her husband...heck no.
Savita and Damodar...hahahahaha
Savita and manav...no not at all.
vinod and sisters... NOWAY
Vinod and Manju... may be little closer than manav and archana but still not close enough
Archana and her parents...gettting warm but still not close.
Manav and vandana... ok have to think about it, i would think its a may be ...may be yes.
Archana's parents...yes def may be though his disappearance puts aquestion mark.
Basically only pavitra rishta in this serial was that of Manav and his uncle whom they bumped off in first few months. He genuinely liked manav did every thing he could to help him be himself and happy. He kept savita's greed in check and gave hard time to freeloader sachin trying to make him into a resepctable man but failed.
Mananv too respected him a lot and did his bidding. Uncle was instrumental in getting him married to his love although should he have lived to see this fiasco of love he would have regretted it!
The makers of this serial wanted Maharastrian family setting so could show how horrid these folks are? I would have preferred to be ignorant about it!
