It was directed by Shivam Nair(he wrote the script)

When Imtiaz was asked if he was directing 2 states he said he makes films only written by him..

Also Ajay didn't seem keen at all to work with Imtiaz again..

Yeah I don't believe it until OP has some links.

Imtiaz has said before his next will feature Ranbir too, during Rockstar promotions.

Abhay yes, but remake is a big oh no-no. Why oh why must Bollywood remake wither South Indian films or Hollywood films...kuch toh original karo.

But as a side note, this pair is interesting and I'm officially intrigues with Abhay-Anu chemistry.
