11/6 DragonClub:Mein Kaun hoon..Aarti or Arpita??

I think now I understand what Vidhi meant when she asked Aarti to replace Arpita ... Vidhi made sure Aarti makes her own presense felt in the house by taking the place of Arpita as a wife , bahu and mother ... not loose her own identity but wipe off Arpita's memories with her presense 😃...

What Aarti did today was not replacing Arpita or becoming Arpita but she tried to take the position of Arpita in the house with full authority and succeeded too ... She did the puja early morning which Arpita as bahu did in the house earlier but in Aarti style ... This resulted in Gayatri for the first time feeling proud of Aarti and mayb from here onwards she will remember Aarti doing morning bhajans and not Arpita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ... Aarti gave milk to the kids and asked them to play with their father since its holiday which earlier Arpita as mother used to do ... This resulted in Palak for the first time listening to Aarti as a mother and following her orders on her own and from here onwards Aarti asking them to play will remain in Palak's memories and not Arpita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...So in a way Aarti today succeeded as a Bahu and a mother not because she replaced Arpita but because she took the responsibilitity of Arpita's duties in the house and performed it all on her own which resulted in Aarti making her own little place in Gayatri and PayPal's heart 😊...

Coming to Aarti's last duty as a wife ... here its a bit complicated and a real challenge for Aarti to make her own place in Yash's heart 😳... More Aarti will do things like Arpita , it will further remember Yash of Arpita and less of Aarti ..But again here Aarti succeeded to some extent since initially when Ansh was putting water on Aarti , it did reminded Yash of those past Arpita memories when he used to put water on Arpita but slowly those memories faded away the moment his present takes over in the form of wet Aarti falling in Yash's arms and he gets lost in her eyes and then the sexual tension takes over 😳😳😳... So in this case Aarti is not replacing Arpita but Arpita's memories r definitely getting replaced by Aarti's presense in Yash's heart 😳😳...

Even during the sneezing moment ,Yash dint remember Arpita until and unless Vidhi reminds him ...so its clear indication that as a wife , Aarti need not replace Arpita or become Arpita since her presense itself is enough for Yash to forget Arpita and start admiring Aarti's overall charming personality which is her own 😃😃

What Vidhi did was just giving a kick atart to Aarti to go and show her authority in the place which is reserved for Arpita since its her place now...and well whatever it is ..the plan is certainly working 😛...After today's episode all I can say is Aarti is not becoming Arpita but Arpita's memories r certainly getting faded away with Aarti's presence and her new found positive domination 😃😃😃

This is the lesson Aarti is teaching to all 😊 ...Arpita's death resulted in things coming to a standstill in everyone's life ...Mayb post Arpita's death , none really did any bhajan in the house , noone really bothered to ask the kids to go and play with their father on a holiday , noone really bothered to tell Yash to go and play around with kids and hv some fun 😳 ... But Aarti today takes the initiative and asks everyone to get a move on and do the same normal things which everyone used to do during Arpita's presense and even now they should do those usual things because life needs to move on ... It cannot stop with a particular person's death ..isn't it ?? 😳😊...

Aarti did everything today which Arpite used to do and mayb post her death people stopped doing all that and r still mourning over her death ... Aarti sort of gave a wake up call to all and she did succeed since Yash took the prasad from Aarti's hand , Palak took the prasad and milk from Aarti's hand , Yash initiated the play with kids and dint mind Ansh putting hosepipe on Aarti too and even enjoyed the sneezing moment too ... So life moves on ,..right ?? 😳😳...

Just how someone does not stop eating and breatihng just because our loved ones hv died , same way Aarti proved to all that someone does not stop doing the regular things which Arpita did just because Arpita is no more ... 😊... Thats why Yash could not really get angry on Aarti today since he knows that its his weakness if he is forcing himself to remember Arpita at every go just to hold back her memories when mayb in reality her memories r just fading away from his mind since Aarti is taking over which we saw in sneezing moment as well as the hosepipe scene 😳😳😳

I felt for Paridi today ..the girl is ready to do anything for the family and in return all she wants is her job back 😭😭,...Hope Pratik this time takes Yash's help and talks to Daddy Scindia on this matter ... A change is what needed in this family now 😊

Coming to the precap ... Once again I feel Aarti will make sure the birthday party happens and if at all Palak's birthday and Arpita's dead anniversary is on same day , then Aarti will bring out another positive change in this family by making everyone celebrate a birthday rather than mourning over someone's death day who cannot return back ...this way Aarti will certainly win Palak's heart as a mother since she knew that if Arpita was alive , then Arpita would hv always celebrated Palak's birthday at any cost ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have to say I am totally relieved by the way the episode played out today and the way they defined the concept of Aarti taking Arpita's place. Today's episode reminded me a lot of the book, "The Secret Garden" and today, Aarti found the keys to the garden that Yash had locked up and she has started making it beautiful, without him really noticing what exactly she is doing. And as her accomplice, Aarti has by her side, possibly the most astute and influential person in the Scindia house in the form of Vidhi. If anyone matches Bua's knowledge of the Scindias, it is Vidhi and with her help, Aarti is marching away with bua's greatest weapon, Arpita.

Since the episode focused a lot on how Aarti started filling Arpita's shoes, and how that triggered memory after memory for Yash, I would like to do my take to show the differences between Aarti and Arpita. Though Aarti is performing the same actions that Arpita used to, she is performing the actions as Aarti, with her judgment intact. I also think it is beautiful how they have built the story to reflect a certain destined path because Aarti made her mistakes with the Scindias, sure, but they all led her to what happened today.

Perhaps had Aarti not been so rebellious in the beginning, Yash would not have known for certain that she had no intention of taking Arpita's place and her plan now would not have been so successful, because he would have resisted it. Now she is acting like Arpita but he cannot raise a word in protest because he knows by now that she has no intention of taking Arpita's place. So he can only answer her efforts with confusion, instead of the anger that Vidhi was expecting. What she was before is not mistake being erased, but an integral part of the process as it is unfolding.

I also like the difference they are showing between Payal and Palak, where the former is rather carefree and flows with the tide, while the latter is completely immersed in pain and loneliness. She was immediately triggered by the bhajan, while Payal slept peacefully on until awoken by her sister. The restlessness that Aarti created in both Yash and Palak by the simple act of singing the bhajan allowed them to open up become vulnerable to her. I loved the way she slowly prised Palak's hands open to give her the prasad, a placid smile on her face the whole time, because she knew the job was done. Similarly, I loved the difference between the Arpita flashback, which was full of fluffy words of candy floss, and the heavy and loaded silence of the Yash-Aarti interaction. Yash looked at Aarti with all the confusion in his soul and Aarti answered with calm and peace. I also thought it was significant that the Yash-Arpita flashback was about constancy, things staying the same, both the prasad and Yash's love. I like to think that that dream was triggered because it is the same scenario, but a different prasad and a different love.

Undoubtedly, my favourite scene of the episode was the poignant one of Palak sitting in front of her mother's photo and quietly eating her prasad while she cried. Ansh and Payal played together, carefree but she sat alone and had a moment of grief. What I loved most was Aarti's reaction. She observed the grieving Palak, gave her a moment and instead of invading her moment with Arpita, gave Palak the space to finish her moment and come out into the world on her own terms. This is exactly what Palak needs right now. Space but constancy. And we saw the positive result in her happily joining in Aarti's schemes. To me, that was all Aarti, her judgment and her sensitivity at play. She knows when to adopt Arpita's mannerisms and when to back off and just be herself and that is what I am liking most about this.

Aarti's next mission was to bring Yash out of his shell, to be a part of the family, which I imagine was something Arpita did often as well. I liked the little reference of Aarti's perfectly laid out plan to scare Yash not working out. It reminded me of how she was afraid that he would disapprove of her trying to be Arpita. But to be honest, I think that Aarti herself has established such a strong presence in Yash's mind that he is not able to decipher that she is imitating Arpita's actions, only that for some reason Aarti is reminding him repeatedly of Arpita today. So no matter what Aarti does to copy her, that thought does not actually occur to Yash, and that is huge!

We were all so negatively prepared for the water scene that it was the most pleasant surprise! I loved the sequence of events, where at first Aarti stood at a respectful distance from the games, though showing her involvement. Again, the girls need time and space with their father to feel that security that nothing was going to change in terms of his love for them, even with Ansh in the equation, and Aarti read that once again. But their little family of five has its own cross connections, and Ansh who is now an insider to Yash, pulled his mother in by his mischief, pointing the hose at her. Immediately on seeing Aarti, Yash was reminded of a moment he had shared with Arpita but he was equally suddenly pulled out of it only to realise that she wasn't there; Aarti was. And yet, before he could dwell on that sadness, Aarti in turn pulled him in by that simple gesture of hiding behind him. I loved how it was so innocent, because mentally, they were kids themselves at that moment, but sensual at the same time because physically, they are two incredibly attractive, wet people!

It was so realistic to see the kids snap them out of their eye lock and draw them into the family once more. The AarYa "rain" scene was all the more meaningful for the roles the kids, and even Gayatri played. I love that they stuck her in today and showed her reactions. I guess she was just genuinely petrified that Aarti was not the right choice for Yash and that she would use him for the name and the money and not fulfill her duties. Seeing Yash and the girls happy today has stirred a new respect in Gayatri for Aarti., all because she gave her effort to be a good bahu a more specific definition, one that they had been trying to force all along, but that had to come to the fore at the right time.

I loved that Aarti talked to Arpita's photo. It was almost like Aarti was accepting that Arpita was alive and that she would have to work with her to win the children's hearts. It was good that she talked to Arpita only about the kids though and asked for her blessing. Do you think Yash heard her?

Finally that towel scene was adorable and I find it interesting that they brought Vidhi at that moment because there was a third party witness to the tension between AarYa and that made it all the more real. But I think what I loved most about this scene was that Vidhi introduced Arpita casually and Yash spoke equally jovially, as though enjoying the fun of his memories with Arpita, and stopped short only a moment later when he realised he was thinking of her but not grieving. To me, that was the biggest step of the episode!
