Check Mate?

There are 3 instances of impending Check Mate in PR as of yesterday, as an avid chess player, one might be tempted to ponder the moves possible in all 3 instances but the choice lies with the opponent being challenged. The gauntlet has been thrown, the dice rolled, will the 3 rise to the challenge?

1. Savita has made her brilliant move, she knows Archana's Achilles' heel, her weak point (thanks to the eavesdropping), her two daughters. Making haste, she plays her trump card, drags in the two, Ovi and Teju to meet "that woman". Any move that Archana makes in the short term will backfire on her, she will be "check mated". Long term, we know she will win the war, just not this battle.

2. Punni has declared open war against Purvi, using every weapon in her armory to defeat Purvi. Punni is a past mistress at this game, she is employing emotional blackmail as regards to Purvi's mother, defamation as regards to Purvi's character and distrust as to Purvi's integrity. She has nothing to lose and she is going at it missiles full blast. Will Purvi have a chance against this incinerating cannon ball in the short term scenario? I doubt it, Punni has already commenced upon her evil plan by sowing the seeds of doubt, ever so casually, in her mother's mind.

3. Now coming to the weakest link, our tarnished hero, Arjun. Purvi has time and time again thrown down her velvet glove, challenging him to combat, asking him to rise to the situation. He has failed, failed to pick up that glove, failed to even notice that it is staring at his face. Purvi has loudly and repeatedly announced "Check" a while ago, he is still staring at the board, in a daze, still contemplating when it would be opportune for him to make the next move. Stalemate, shall we call it?

There has to be a shocking event for Archana's ladla and your damaad to wake up and takeactions!!!! I believe the shocking event would be Purvi is in big trouble by someone else. He is not able to see Purvi's trouble that he is causing so it has to be by someone else.

Hey Laurie, yes, good old days! If I watch those old scenes of ArVi, I feel like I am watching completely a different serial than current PR. I watch office fights, holi scene, and the scene before the temple when Arjun and Purvi were looking for a temple, and ArVi nok-jok before Purvi goes to the temple, then shiv puja, scene after bench scene when Arjun drops Purvi home and wait for her to go in. It feels like a dream land.

You, Jhanvi, and I are ready to go to Mumbai to shake Arjun, let's see who else wants to join us? Trish and Debu can meet us there.🥳

Savita's taken the Sicilian defense? 🤣 She's actually doing Archana a favour because if Archana had her way she would just admire her daughter's from afar until the divorce is finalized. Now Savita - like Punni - will have this little plan of her's backfire because of Tej. 😈

Tej - who got to know her mother by God's grace - will pick up the gauntlet FOR Archana after her initial anger dies down. This of course will incense Savita to use Ovi against Archana and there will be dissent amongst the ranks.

Besides after this move what else does Savita have waiting in the wings? Shravni? Bring it on witchiepoo! 😎

Don't discount our Purvi yet - She's a scrapper! Remember she went head to head with the man-child Chucky (Sachin) and beat him at his own game? 👏

She's just a little disoriented right now since she learned the truth from Punni but once she gets her bearings everything will come up roses! Our girl's got a spine made of steel! 😎

More like 'checked-out '! Boy Wonder hasn't a clue about the chess game of love. He's so busy with... erm, with... gosh, with??? What IS he busy with?

He doesn't seem to be working, just harassing Purvi and waiting for Ovi's call 🤢 Purvi needs to get away from him at the moment. Like maybe take a trip with Tej to London or something 🤣 and make him realize what he can LOSE FOREVER if he's not careful.

He keeps saying they she doesn't understand him ... what exactly is she supposed to understand about his inaction? I'm confooosed 😕
