Ranbir Kapoor summoned by court for smokin in pubi

One more Bollywood star is up for a rap on the knuckles for smoking in public. This time, Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly been summoned by a local court in Udaipur for lighting up in a public place.

Ranbir Kapoor was clicked smoking on the sets of his film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani being shot in Udaipur. Some of the pictures appeared in a local daily following which Udaipur resident Harish Vaishnav filed a complaint against the Bollywood star for smoking in public.

Ranbir Kapoor would reportedly be booked for violating Section 5 of the Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act, according to which if a person is found guilty of smoking in public places, he/she can be sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of six months or a fine of Rs. 200.

The Udaipur court has reportedly summoned Ranbir Kapoor on June 26.

Recently, Shahrukh Khan was also summoned by the Rajasthan court for smoking in a public place. Earlier, Ajay Devgan too was fined for the offence.
