Billu is busy decorating the hall for a party and Arti wants to know what's going on. He says Harivansh is bringing a guest and he's making ready to receive them. Arti wants to know who. Sumitra comes and asks Arti to taste kheer and mentions the guest as well. Arti grows frustrated by all the secrecy and says she'll go see herself. She heads for the front door but Billu says the guest is coming from inside the house - she turns around and Harivansh wheels Pooja out on a top of the line wheelchair.
They're all very emotional and happy. Arti says she doesn't feel the sting of the recent setback because Pooja's arrival is a victory for her. Pooja in veggie mode stares at the ceiling. Harivansh says Dev sent the wheelchair and Arti is surprised. Billu doesn't seem to like this. Just then Dev calls and although Arti argues with him, insists on paying Kishen Lal a visit.
(The Tiwaris never learn do they? đ First they took all sorts of favors from BBP and now Dev)
KL is sitting down to dinner when there is loud banging on the door and Shukla comes with two men and says its time for them to leave their home. Lal's wife protests but Shukla threatens them and KL agrees. Suddenly there is a knock on the door and Shukla and his men run out of the window. Dev is standing outside, gun in one hand and hipflask in another, Arti by his side.
KL is terrified and says he's caught in the middle. BBP will kill him if he says anything and Dev will kill him if he doesn't. Dev says he won't prosecute if KL gives the correct description of the killers this time. He brings in a sketch artist and then checks KL's given description with that given by KL's wife and is satisfied. KL's wife tells Arti that her husband is not a greedy man but BBP threatened them and they got scared. She also tells them that the men KL identified in court were shown to them by Govind Shankar. KL mentions the visit by Shukla just before Dev's arrival.
Dev and Arti are shocked by this coincidence. Dev's powerful CBI intellect goes to work and he figures out that there must be a bug in his office. đ
Dev's superiors meanwhile are worried by his radio silence. The minister in charge and the media both want to know the status of the investigation. Dev's boss says the defense ministry wants to know what kind of man BBP is. (Hain??? Is BBP our new Army Chief of Staff or something? đ¤Ł) He sends his man to find out what Dev is up to.
Shukla reports to BBP about Dev's untimely arrival and expresses his lack of faith in KL's ability to keep his mouth shut. BBP is thinking about this when the transmitter starts to work. Dev and Arti are moaning about BBP's cleverness and how he's managed to counter their every move and how KL refuses to say anything. BBP is pleased. Shukla is relieved. Rangoli overhears and walks away in disgust.
In the CBI office we see Dev and Arti are actually talking off a script after discovering the bug. Dev disconnects the bug and says he's going to use this against BBP. Arti has stars in her eyes by this rare show of mild intellect from somebody other than her on this show.
Dev says while BBP is relaxing, he'll get the fake killers to confess they're not the real killers. Arti wants to know how. Dev grimly says he will take care of it.
Precap: Dev has the fake killers in the middle of a forest outside a prison van. He asks them for the truth and they confess the real killers were hired by Rangoli. He tells them to run where BBP won't find them and as they run he says he'll make sure they'll reach somewhere beyond BBP's grasp and shoots them. He says, Happy Birthday Pooja! đ˛
Will I jinx it if I say I feel mildly interested in finding out how the show will go tomorrow? đł So Dev is also psycho. This show should be called Psychos ke Bhanwar Mein. đ
