yep it is close to reality. They show dailylife scenes and then let characters deal with them !! Though Gayatri and Bua r unrealistic in their emotions!! Cant they show Gayatri thinking abt Yash happiness she is mostly anti-aarti,anti-bahu,sarcastic,bhulakkar etc.
Happy that ur family cud relate to this show.
In my family, my dadaji's mom was married to dadaji's dad after dadaji's tau died.
There r few more examples like this. This type of punar vivah is far unrealistic if think abt rural areas! It suits Bhopal though.

Bua and Gayatri seem unrealistic negatives with same old evil expressions! It cud have been better in some scenes plus saaree collection of bahus. I feel like looking anywhere else when I see too much work on them!!
Some scenes were too fab mostly they were AarYa scenes or involved Ansh alongwith AarYa. Parallel tracks can also b fab. Characters r never side characters just they r given less screen time.

Okk overall its too good but flaws cant b ignored if they want it to b at top.

My vote goes to close to reality one...
Well I have seen a live example of a Punar Vivah...My neighbor has 3 daughters...The eldest daughter was happily married 9 years back.. She has a 8 years old daughter...Her husband died 2 years after marriage because of heart attack...Since then both were staying here with her parents...Just this month we heard a good news that she has married a divorcee who has a son...Both are doctors by profession...the daughter still stays in her Nani's house here but father son mother daughter have a get together on weekends...all wells that ends well...And to add to the families wounds...the youngest daughter got married 2 years back...Her husbands dead body was found in swimming pool just a year back... he was there for a company outing...Life can be so cruel at times...Her parents told us that they had got their Kundali shown to the best of panditji's in the South after what their elder daughter had gone thru...they are South Indians...Guess what Destiny cannot be changed by a mere kundali you see...😭😒...Hope fully the youngest daughter will get married soon... she does not have a child...and Thank God for small mercies the middle sister is doing just fine...
Basically, its not so simple in real life as it is shown in Punar Vivah...but thats what this channel stands for umeed se saje Zindagi..Kudos to Zee for bringing in serials like PV, PSH and SSLK, AB...I never knew I would watch Zee again after so many years...

I think Punar Vivah is very much positive as compared to real life. Remarriages r not that simple even in Urban areas. Here Aarti is seeing hope in Yash and Yash in Aarti bcoz they r willing for it plus they have guts to decide their own lives.
Punar Vivah is all about hope to relive again!!!
Thanks for sharing ur experience.
