Sangram Singh is lying on his stomach, fast asleep, when his phone rings and he is shocked to find BBP on the other end. BBP asks him to turn around and SS sits up to find BBP sitting there with his men. BBP tells SS they need to discuss his support to the Tiwaris. SS says BBP must have got wrong info. BBP says SS' men have already confessed as much so stop wasting his time. SS asks him what he wants and BBP says Rangoli is holding a press conference and he wants SS to help make it a success. He gestures to his men.

Rangoli is at the press conference with Dr. Bansal's widow and she shows the press photos of Mrs. Bansal cudding with SS. Mrs. Bansal says she's been having an affair with SS and that's why she was blackmailed into accusing BBP. Rangoli says Mrs. Bansal must be applauded for siding with the truth and says the allegations against BBP are masterminded by Arti Tiwari and the opposition. She wonders if Arti's relationship with SS is something like the one Mrs. Bansal shares with him.

Arti and Sumitra are watching the press conference with Billu and they're all shocked. Sumitra says they're back where they started and Rangoli's words are a clear message that they will do worse with Arti's reputations unless she stops. Arti says she has full faith in Dev's ability to stop anything like that taking place. Sumitra is mad and walks off.

At the haveli, Rangoli asks Govind Shankar to tell the press about SS and he says SS is now absconding because he knew his game was up. Rangoli brings Mrs. Bansal to the Bungoli bedroom where BBP is playing videogames with her son and he says every parent pays ransom but Mrs. Bansal has paid much more than that for her son and she is to be lauded.

It is revealed that BBP's men made SS forcibly drink alcohol until he was incapacitated. Then Mrs. Bansal came and posed for photos with him on the bed since her son was in BBP's custody. There is a shot of BBP in close up where he looks like he's pained and disgusted with himself. In the present day, BBP sends Mrs. Bansal home with her son and says he's sure she won't give him any trouble from now on. Rangoli says everything went as he planned but she looks displeased as usual.

Arti goes to meet Dev and he is least bothered about all that happened. She gives him the emotional blackmail wala speech about how she thought someone was finally fighting for justice and he makes her sit down and explains that this is a war and in a war there will be casualities. He says BBP has planned ahead and knew exactly where the CBI was going to strike so he went there first. Mrs. Bansal has been effectively neutralized forever. Sangram Singh is the only one who can refute her claims.

He brings up Kishen Lal and Arti says he already lied once, what use can he be? Dev says maybe he is a liar but he is also their one sole eye witness and he knows what the attackers look like.

BBP meanwhile has bugged the CBI office and is listening to Dev and Arti's conversation and is highly pleased to know Dev understands how cunning he is. He calls Shukla and tells him Kishen Lal and his family must disappear.
