Nani, Anjali, NK, Payal, Mami, Mamaji and Akash were at the door to welcome the Gupta family to their house. There was music blasting inside, the house was decorated with flowers and lights; a wedding was to take place at the Raizada house that night! As Khushi stepped inside the house, she was tingling with excitement all over. She had been busy all day, packing her bags and receiving guests at the Gupta house. She had to admit that she was disappointed when NK showed up with the shaadi ka joda (bridal wear); she was hoping Arnav would have, but then he might have been busy with the wedding preparations too. Now as she stepped into the house, she couldn't wait to see him, but he wasn't around. "Ghar ki sab log yahaan hain, aur woh.. laad governor! (Everyone else is here.. and he.. )" Khushi was annoyed, as she mumbled under her breath. Anjali looked at Khushi's face and giggled, "Kya hua, Khushiji.. aap theekh to hain? (What happened, Khushi.. are you alright?)" Khushi looked at Anjali and smiled. Anjali hugged her. "Hum sab kitne dino se iss din ka intezaar kar rahe the. Par humhe pata hain hum sab se zyaada aap aur Chotte iss din ka bezabri se intezaar kar rahe the (We all have been waiting for this day for so many days now. But we know that you and Chotte have been waiting eagerly for this day more than us)". Khushi blushed and looked around. Anjali added, smiling, "Chotte ko kuch conference call aa gaya tha' woh thodi hi der main free ho jaayenge. Abhi aap andar to aa jaayiye (Chotte had some conference call. He will be free in a bit. Please at least come inside)." Khushi blushed, realizing that everyone else had walked inside and was waiting for her to join them. Khushi smiled, then when Anjali turned away, Khushi made an annoyed face and mumbled under her breath, "Aaj bhi kaam.. humne socha woh humare baare main soch rahe hoge.. aaj humhari shaadi hain.. aur aaj bhi woh kaam kar rahe hain! (He has work today also? I thought he would be thinking about me. Today is our wedding day and he is working today also?)"
Chameli ran up next to her and panting heavily said, "Sorry Khushi, humhara auto traffic main bhas gaye the.. ab chalo chalo, jaldi taiyyar hote hain (Our auto got stuck in traffic. Now lets go, lets get ready fast)" Rahul walked in behind Chameli; Anjali felt Rahul's presence, she stopped and turned around to see him. Khushi and Chameli were busy talking, they didn't realize that Anjali had stopped. But Rahul did, he walked towards her and when he reached her, she said "Namaste, Rahulji.. kaise hain aap (How are you?)". Rahul replied awkwardly, "Namaste, Anjaliji.. main .. main theekh hoon. .aur.(I.. I am fine.. and)." Suddenly he pulled her towards him, she closed her eyes. "Dekh kar nahi chal sakte the (Couldn't you see where you were going?)", Anjali opened her eyes hearing Rahul's voice. He was yelling at two guys who had been carrying a huge wooden plank behind them. They would have hit Anjali, if he hadn't pulled her away. He then looked at Anjali, his eyes softer, and pushed her away, "Anjali, tumhe kuch ho jaata toh..(Anjali, what if something had happened to you..)" He opened his mouth to say something else, then he stopped and walked away. Tears rolled down Anjali's cheeks.
Khushi walked into the room, struggling with two bags of clothes and cosmetics. They had run into NK on the way and Chameli had stopped to talk to him. Khushi felt odd standing in between them, while they looked into each other's eyes and so she had decided to go to her room and wait for Chameli and Payal there. She giggled thinking, I wonder when NK and Chameli will realize that they love each other! As she stepped into the room, she heard the door being banged shut. Her eyes widened in fear, she dropped the bags and turned around and crashed into someone. She kept her eyes closed, but her heart was beating wildly; she knew who it was. She hugged him tightly and she felt his arms around her. "Aap kahan the.. aapko pata hain ki humne aapko kitna miss kiya aaj.. aap subah humse milne aaya kyu nahi(Where were you? Do you know how much I missed you today. Why didn't you come to see me today morning?)". She looked up at his face and saw Arnav trying hard to hide his laughter. She pulled away and asked, "Has kya rahe ho (Why are you laughing?)", with an annoyed face. He smiled more and moved towards her, "waise achcha hua ki main tumhe milne aaya nahi.. ab pata chal gaya ki mujhe tumne kitna miss kiya (Good that I didn't come to see you today morning. Now I know how much you missed me)". She folded her arms, turned away and said, "Maine aap ko miss nahi kiya (I didn't miss you)". He moved closer and brought his face closer to her, and asked, "Oh really.. par tumhi ne toh abhi kaha tha ki tumne mujhe bahut miss kiya (But you only said right now that you missed me a lot)". She turned around saying, "Woh main (That I)" and she stopped, as her lips slightly brushed against his cheeks, since his face was close to hers. He raised his eyebrows and asked, "woh tum kya..(That you what?)" She stared into his eyes, her heart was beating wildly and she was breathing heavily, "Nahi.. (No..)" she stammered. He moved closer, she moved backwards till she reached the cupboard and stood against it. He put his hands on either side of her and asked, "Nahi kya..(No what..)" She stammered, "woh.. woh..(That.. that..)", but she didn't finish the sentence; Arnav's lips had found hers and he had grabbed her in his arms. Khushi felt herself being lifted off the floor and she put her arms around him. As his tongue explored her mouth, she felt tingly all over her body. His arms were wrapped tightly around her small waist and she felt she could hardly breathe; but she didn't care.
When Arnav put her down and moved away, she didn't want him to; she pressed her body against his and kissed him on the lips; she wanted to feel his touch, she missed him. Finally he pulled her away, and added smiling, "Khushi, kuch toh suhaag raat ke liye chod do (Khushi, leave something for our first night)". She walked towards him and put her arms around him, "Yeh toh sirf ek jhalak hain, Mr. Raizada.. suhaag raat ke liye bahut kuch chod diya hain (This is just a glimpse, Mr. Raizada.. I have left a lot for our first night)", she said her eyes filled with desire. He took her hands in his, "Control yourself Khushi, warna main control nahi kar paayega..(Control yourself Khushi, otherwise I wont be able to control myself)" She smiled naughtily, "toh kisne kaha control karne ke liye..(Who asked you to control yourself?)" and she moved her face towards his. He stepped back and she walked towards him, smiling, "Kya hua, Arnavji.. ab aap peeche jaa rahe hain? (What happened, Arnav.. now you are moving away from me?)" Arnav knew that he might not be able to control himself if she kissed him again; he had missed her so much, they hadn't seen each other for almost 24 hours and yes, that was a long time! He backed into the wall and Khushi giggled, "Ab aapko kaun bachayega, Mr Arnav Singh Raizada (Now who will save you, Mr Arnav Singh Raizada?)". She was about to move closer to him, when the door opened and Buaji stepped in with Chameli and Payal, "Arre titliya.. (Hey Khushi)" and she stopped, seeing Arnav and Khushi together. "Arre bitwa.. tum yahaan? (son, you here?)" Arnav and Khushi blushed, Arnav walked to Buaji, was about to say something and then decided against it and walked out of the room. Chameli and Payal giggled, Buaji looked angrily at Khushi.
Arnav walked out, embarrassed. What would Buaji think? Khushi, its all your fault, you are going to pay for this tonight. He smiled and blushed thinking about what he had planned for the night! Deep in his thoughts, he ran into Akash, who looked worried. "Bhai, inspector ka phone tha.. Shyam ko kisi ne Dilli main dekha hain (
Bhai, the inspector called. Someone saw Shyam in Delhi today)". Arnav raised his eyebrows, "kya.. aur.. usse kisine arrest nahi kiya (
What.. and .. no one arrested him?)". Akash replied, putting his hand on Arnav's shoulder, "Agar woh yahaan aa jaayenge toh inspector ke aadmi usse arrest kar lenge.. paanch police waale Shantivan ke aas paas hain.. aap fikar mat karna, Bhai. Khushiji aur Di ko kuch nahi hoga. (
If he comes here, inspector's guys will arrest him. Five policemen are stationed around Shantivan. Don't worry, bro. Nothing will happen to Khushi and Di)" Arnav hugged Akash and said, "Thanks, Akash.. I know I can count on you." Akash walked with Arnav discussing about his sherwani, which was in Akash's room.
Sorry, from the comments I see that you are worried about Shyam.. but remember what I said earlier, I will not let Shyam ruin this wedding.. in fact Shyam will not ruin anything.. remember he still hasn't given Anjali a divorce.. but we need him to, so that Anjali can settle with Rahul 😊 that's why I brought him back!
