Short Update: Arti refuses to be scared but doesn't tell anybody about what happened to her, not even Billu who keeps asking her. She goes to the police station with Krish to meet the CBI officer but before she can, Govind Shankar hands her the phone and BBP tells her to make sure everything is ok at home before she runs off to the battleground. Arti bumps into Dev on her way out and arrives home to find Sumitra all packed to go. BBP has sent morphed pics of Pooja with some guy and threatened to publicize them unless they drop the case. Arti decides to drop the case. Dev and GS have a small stand off when he tells GS he wants to meet the Tiwaris and Dev slaps him. Rangoli seems a little relieved when she hears BBP's latest plan. BBP sings Pooja's signature tune and I want to slap him. đĄ
Arti is brushing her hair and thinking of the previous night. She has terrified tears in her eyes but she swears she won't back off now. Billu wants to know what happened since he's not a Tiwari and has a brain in his head. She refuses to tell him but tells him to stay at home because she fears they are all at great risk now that the CBI is involved.
She goes to the police station with Krish to wait for the CBI officer and Govind Shankar and his flunky are amazed to see her there. Krish does his usual He Man bit about how he can't believe everyone around him is so evil and the way they treated Arti the night before. She calms him down and then puts a grinning GS in his place too.
GS hands her a phone and says BBP wants to talk to her. She first refuses but GS hints her family might be in trouble so she immediately takes the phone and asks BBP what he's up to now. BBP has been listening to her dismiss him in front of GS and doesn't like her tone of voice when she speaks to him but finally comes to the point - he's sent his "friends" to visit her family.
She calls up Billu in a panic but before she can warn him, he opens the door to the same guy who threw the fake acid on Arti's face the previous night and he hits Billu on the head. Arti is in a panic and she runs out with Krish much to the amusement of GS. On her way she bumps into Dev and his hipflask falls to the ground. They stare at each other, Arti notices the hipflask and then says a brief sorry and runs off leaving him staring after her.
Dev picks up the hipflask and takes a swig from it. GS' flunky sees him and tells GS who is relieved that the dreaded CBI officer is just a drunk. He's happily walking off when Dev catches him and says at least he has the excuse of his drink, but what's GS' excuse for being such a crap officer? GS and Dev have an extended taunt session that begins with Dev ordering GS to set up an appointment with Pooja's parents and ends with Dev slapping GS across the face.
GS loses his temper and pulls out his gun. Dev grins and asks his junior colleagues to take pictures. He says if the media got hold of photos that show GS welcoming the CBI to Bhopal with his gun drawn, he'll go straight to jail without any trial. GS is mad and puts his gun away and Dev leaves with his colleagues. GS then goes back to funny psycho mode.
Rangoli storms into the Bungoli bedroom to find BBP singing Pooja's song. She gets predictably furious and asks him what he's up to. He says he's arranged things in such a way that the CBI might come to Bhopal but they'll never meet the Tiwaris. Rangoli hears his plan and is relieved enough to swallow BBP tunelessly singing Pooja's song again.
Arti discovers BBP's plan when she comes home to find Sumitra with their bags packed. She wordlessly hands Arti some of the worst photoshopped pics known to mankind. It shows Pooja with some model type guy and from what I could see, they're sort of awkwardly posed against each other. Not even doing anything scandalous.
Billu says BBP plans to make giant posters of those photos and plaster them all over Bhopal unless the Tiwaris drop the case. Sumitra gets up and leaves, upset, while Arti pleads with her parents to recognize that these are all just scare tactics and these pics are obviously fake.
Harivansh's collapsible spine has retracted under this particular threat and he says he knows they're fake but people won't care once they see them. Sumitra might kill herself if this threat is carried out and he himself won't be able to bear it. Arti can get her justice over the dead bodies of her parents. Since he puts it like that, Arti says she's prepared to drop her andolan.
Precap: On Sunday, the mahaepisode without any kind of promotion airs, and in it GS and his flunkies are pretending to shoot the Tiwaris one by one. Suddenly the lights come on and Arti is standing triumphantly in the doorway with Dev.
