Honestly,
The writing of this show , the inbuilt drama of the scenes and the improvization of actors doesn't fail to amaze me. I about 22 minutes of screentime , you saw two diametrically different sides fo AarYa , Chhipkali's kameenapann, Daayan's doggie-pann, kids' bachpana and Shobha's belief in Yash and defiance of Daayan and Chhipkali.
AarYa are DYING to talk to each-other or rather box each-others' ears and ask one pounding question - "How dare you?" Yash wants justice for himself as a father and as a husband ( chaahe maane ya na maane ) - Aarti wants an answer and Yash in a dessert plate with sugar coating ( yes, i mean what i said about Yash right now ). Point being, somewhere Yash and Aarti are becoming AarYa. Its not about their spoilt babies anymore- its about THEM. Yash is getting attached to his marriage via the route of honour, respect and an unsaid faith that he wants Aarti to have in him. He is not waltzing at a club in the happy wait of Aarti signing the divorce papers. Aarti is falling in love with Yash and her respect for him just rises every day. It shows in the stung and wounded looks that she gives Yash - and sometimes those looks turn to those of longing and hope. Her hands would rather clench in fists than sign the divorce papers. Yash somehow cannot release Aarti and Aarti no longer wants to release Yash. Ansh and Yash's unconscious faith bond with Aarti are drawing him into a plethora of feelings and thoughts that make him FEEL for his second marriage. Aarti is getting drawn towards Yash like a firefly towards fire - because she is seeing the man that he is and to what limits he can go for her only because he respects her and honours his committment towards Ansh.
Today , at the school, more than Yash, Aarti wanted to talk to Yash and her eyes would keep darting back to that Toned Down Darcy of a man in the parking lot. Aarti is emotionally heightened and volatile while Yash's treatment of his feelings is cryptic and conservative. And it all tumbled out when she thrashed that unlucky pickpocket right-left-center and emphasized that Yash is HER HUSBAND and no random chavannichhaap chuha gets to even harm his wallet. THIS... this is how Aarti's developing feelings and respect for Yash came out aggressively - she wants to look after him, protect him, shield him and yes, love him. And the husband in Yash who hates his empty bedroom , smiled in fond affection. For a few seconds , somebody inside him was happy , sheepish and grinning that Aarti CARES...
That subconcious registration and realization of feelings that SOMEBODY feels inside us? That is what is happening with AarYa.
And who will not agree that their full circle at Hotel DESENT.šš...was a wicked but profound sense of humour of fate? Its like even destiny shook her head and went like - how many times do i lock you in steel cuffs so that you both get it straight in your heads that you both were born to be handcuffed to each-other? The lovely part? Aarti was not worried about getting arrested - she was happy that she was handcuffed to Yash and fate has decided to keep them together.
Sigh! I love AarYa. I cannot think of a better example of soulmates borne out of nothing but stardust that clotted together by a collision of fate.
