You breathe LIFE into me...
Part 1...
She remembered how she followed Shyam to this place before but had to run away as the men with the guns saw her. She was frightened. But this time she was determined, determined to know what happened to Arnav. She knew he was somewhere near. She could sense him in danger.
She looked out from her hiding place. Fog had wrapped about the little eerie cottage in front of her. The area was clear now. She had sat there for the half an hour just to let those strange guys leave the place. Now she could see no one. She got up from her hiding place, pushing the pricking wooden board away. It had pierced her hand and blood was pouring out of the wound. But she paid no heed to it. She tied her hair up in a bun. Her dupatta had torn. She left it there itself and proceeded. She quickly ran inside.
He opened his eyes abruptly. He could sense her. No, that can't happen, she can't be here, he thought. Suddenly he heard a familiar voice in front of him.
"Damn it! I told you to bring bullets! There are just two",the guy in black shouted at another one in grey.
"Boss had said to kill him. Even ONE bullet is enough",the grey one retorted as he went out of the room.
"Manish! Don't argue with me! I don't need even a BULLET to kill this creature",the black one said,clenching Arnav's chin. He pushed his face backwards making Arnav wince in pain.
Khushi walked inside the cottage for the past half an hour but ultimately reached where she had started from. She banged her fist in mid air. She was desperately looking for a way, for a clue but got nothing.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps. The sound got louder. She quickly ran behind the iron pillar praying to god to keep her breathing stable. Her heart was in a state that it could just bounce outside her chest. She could just wish that whoever those guys were,they wouldn't hear her pounding heart beats.
He could feel her. Yes.he had gone mad. How can she be here,he thought. But he could feel her breathing. He could hear her heartbeats..beating wildly. Was she in some kind of danger,he thought as he restlessly rolled over his chair to loosen the grip of the ropes he was tied onto. Failing for the thousandth time. he sank back into the chair.
"Khushi",he whispered.
Her eyes jerked open. She looked here and there. She heard him call her. Sh e felt his heart call hers. Was he here? In this cottage? She tilted her head to see if the men had left. Yes,there is no one here, she said to herself. She walked past the pillar and looked around clueless to where she should head to.
She placed her hand on her heart gently,closing her eyes. Arnav's image flashed in front of her. He was smiling at her. His arms wide open welcoming her. But he was going away from her,as his image slowly vanished.
"Khushi",she heard his voice again. She jerked open her eyes and turned to her right. There was a tiny staircase there. She followed it and reached the basement. She witnesses the darkest of all places there. She couldn't see a thing in front of her. It was pitch dark.
Suddenly,she felt a hand on her shoulder...
