Hey ABians...
I know, I know, I said to you all that I am finally free from uni work...well I have one last day at my child care tomorrow for uni, so this means waking up early tomorrow...so I'm in a little rush and kinda sleepy. You all know how it gets with the kids who are not even 2...so yeah...I'll be a little quick today.
It begins with Krishna coming home, mangal sees pin-ky in the way and tells her to move out of their way. Pin-ky says "why should I move? Do you own the street?" Mangal was about to get out in anger, but Krishna tells him to stop and goes out of the car to meet Pin-ky. Pin-ky looks at Krishna and says "you look nice when you're dressed." Krishna smiles and says "really? But I don't like all this." Pin-ky says "really? Why don't you like all this? You should make it a habit because you are no longer that poor Krishna, you belong to a Rich family now...Krishna Pinto Singh." Krishna's smile fades away. "now I understand why you feel weird because how can one actually like all this by snatching it away from someone." Dihati and Bihari are watching this from far. Krishna says "I am getting late." Krishna walks past Pin-ky and rushes home. She looks around and chanchal sees Krishna stand by the door and tells everyone that Krishna is here. Chanchal hugs her tight and says "how are you?" Krishna says "I am fine, how are you?" Krishna seeks ravi's blessings and hugs saraswati. Saraswati says "is everything ok?" Krishna says "no ma, nothing is ok. Everyone back there wants me to dress up and go to the office, now how can I go like this?" Saraswati looks at Vidya. Chanchal says "you look good." Krishna says "I know but if I dress up like this and go then it'll show my weakness...and if I am considered weak as a government officer then the entire country will seem to be weak. I have to fulfil both the responsibilities as a D-I-L and as an officer." Vidya says "Krishna is right! You go and change Krishna." Krishna leaves to change, Saraswati looks at Vidya. Krishna quickly changes to a simple attire and leaves in a rush. Pin=Ky and dihati sees Krishna in a simple attire and are confused. Pin=Ky says "she came as Tuntun's D-I-L and now she leaves as an officer. Does Krishna's mother in law know about this?" (Gosh! Isse koi paagal khaane hi bhej do, warna nay eh khud jeeyegi na mujhe jeene degi!)
Krishna is in for a meeting with a few people, just when Tuntun barges into the office and says "my child what is this? I have some important work with you and your workers are stopping me." (ufff...ab samajh mein aaya ki pinto ji kispar gaye hai...beta toh beta, baap re baap!) Mithilesh says "tuntun ji, try and understand. Krishna ji is in a meeting, you can't meet her right now." Tuntun says "I am here and it's very important. D-I-L I came to meet you in regards to the tender...I'm in a hurry to have the contract approved. I don't have time can you have it done quickly." Krishna says "It'll take a little time, I have given in the file for enquiry and right now I am in a meeting so..." Tuntun says "I understand...I'll leave then. You do your meeting." Tuntun goes all serious and leaves the room. He turns to look at Krishna and thinks "how did she manage to change? Seems like she's been at her maternal home!" Tuntun leaves and mithilesh too leaves closing the door. (Gosh! Should I be worried, since my F-I-L has seen me in a different saree?) one of the people who were in for the meeting says "who was this man?" Krishna says "Pardon me, he has submitted in a contract file and wants it to be soon." The guy says "then why did he keep calling you D-I-L?" (abbey akal ke andhe...do you not see me wearing the sindoor? I am married...so doesn't it make things a little obvious?) Krishna hesitates and says "He's...he's my father in law." The guy says "oh, father in law is a businessman and the D-I-L is a B.D.O. keep things in mind if your father in law gets this tender then people will raise questions." Krishna gets in thoughts.
Back at the TTS residence, Tuntun and ganga are in the living room. Tuntun says "Mr Daughter in law insulted me in front of all in her office today! She asked me to leave for the office,s he didn't even want to discuss business, so I just left from there." Tuntun sees Krishna arrive back in the old saree and thinks how she was dressed all simple in the office. "AMAZING! Welcome back D-I-L! are you happy by insulting your father like Father-in-law? Or is there anything else left?" Krishna says "babu ji I did not insult you...I just..." Ganga says "you just tried to be like an officer D-I-L but ended up as the same officer daughter!" Krishna says "I'm sorry, I didn't understand." Ganga says "oh don't you understand? Back at Vidyapati's house everyone must have been really pleased to meet you right?" Krishna lowers her gaze, babloo and pinto arrive as well. Tuntun changes his colors once again and says "leave it ganga devi, forget the past." The pandit ji arrives and says "is everything good?" Ganga talks about some ritual that needs to be done after 2 weeks of marriage. Pandit ji says "yes." Ganga says "but she has already visited her maternal place." (I guess she's talking about pagphere...ermmm, dunno about in bihar mummy ji, but in north it's usually the next day for us ) "Now she was so restless so mught as well get this ritual done tomorrow. Seems like she doesn't like the place and probably facing problems in doing all the rituals. So might as well go home for a few days. I'm sure you'd like it." Krishna is upset at this, Tuntun says 'Pnadit ji we'll let you know about the ritual later on, Sorry you had to come here. You can go now." Pandit ji elaves and says "Leave it ganga devi, I admit that the new bride has made a mistake but I'm sure she won't repeat it again." (seriously, here I should really get thinking about tuntun's behaviour! How did he change in my favor all of a sudden?) Ganga says "You're right! This wedding didn't take place with my permission but I accepted this marriage for my son's happiness, your new D-I-L doesn't even know how to handle the honor of the family. No wonder they say one should always have their kids married in the family that meets your status." Krishna and Pinto are shocked to hear this, pinto says "Ma!" Ganga says "we exist because of these rituals. No matter how big of an officer one is, but they can't be bigger than the society and rituals." Ganga leaves, Krishna is in tears. Babloo says "education teaches people to follow the rules of the society and not break them." Babloo leaves after throwing on of his taunts at me again. Sargam says "Krishna go to your room." Tuntun agrees, Krishna wipes her tears and goes to her room. Pinto follows Krishna. Tuntun thinks "gosh, everything has gone out of control...if this is how it keeps going my D-I-L will no longer be under my control! I must think a little harder."
Krishna is standing by the window, pinto looks at Krishna from behind and stands beside her and says "you are hurt by ma's words?" Krishna nods and says "No, I am hurt because of myself. I shouldn't have forgotten that I am married and I must follow the rituals. Ma wasn't wrong, it was my mistake." Pinto gets Krishna to look at him and says "stop thinking and don't blame yourself. Should I say something? It's very easy to pacify mum. Do whatever you want but tell her as well, if something comes as a surprise then mothers don't like it. If you respect them and do as per their wish then they are pleased." Krishna nods again and looks out the window. Pinto gets a little closer to Krishna and nudges her with his shoulder. (eeekkk...flirty pinto ji.) Pinto says "now tell me what do I do to bring a smile on my wife's face?" (omg, he has his arm around my shoulder. Dil going dhak dhak! Ufff, how I wish I was there right now!) Krishna doesn't say anything, pinto gets Krishna to look at him and says "Krishna don't be upset. I have full faith in you that you'll win ma's heart." Krishna smiles at this, and both look on at each other with a smile.
Next morning, Krishna is back in the office and tells mithilesh to work on some case and give them a week's time to respond and if they don't then have some action taken against them. Mithilesh leaves, Krishna remembers ganga's words about handling honor and status stuff. There's a knock on the door, Krishna asks the person to come in without even looking at the door. Someone's keeps a bouquet on the table, Krishna looks up and finds pinto ji standing there." (uff pinto ji, agar aap roz humein aise bouquets dete rahenge toh hum kaam kaise kar paayenge?) Krishna says "you? What are you doing here?" Pinto says "well, dad says to me that you are married now. So go ahead and do some work. Why don't you go see what's happening at naugachiya" Krishna gets up and says "but...this is my office, not naugachiya." Pinto says "I was going there but then I thought to..." Krishna shies away. "Thought of having lunch with my wife." Krishna says "oh so this is how you do the work for babu ji. I have so much work." Krishna was about to walk away but pinto grabs her and gets her to look at him and says "so what if your busy? It doesn't mean that you can't have lunch! Can't you spend some time with your husband?" Both have a staring session just when the peon comes in and says "madam ji, tuntun ji is here and he wasn't to meet you." Pinto gets tensed and looks at Krishna. (haha pahsse ab aap bachu.) Krishna says "send him in." the peon says ok and leaves to get tuntun ji. Pinto says "what are you doing? It's dad!" Krishan says "so?" Pinto says "what do you mean so? I told dad that I am going to naughachiye, what will be think if he sees me here?" Pinto quickly finds a place to hide and finally manages to hide under the table. (hahahahaha...) Krishna quickly covers her head with the pallu. Tuntun says "D-I-L can I come in?" tuntun enters all cheerful and says "surprised to see me? The thing is that I had come for some work so I brought this for you." (awww how sweet, my F-I-L brought lunch for me.) Krishna says "babu ji what was the need for this?" Tuntun says "and why not? Truly speaking I feel bad about yesterday...I realize my mistake so I thought to apologize to you. Why do you have your head covered? You an officer here so remove it. No need to cover your head." Krishna says "dad, at this moment you are not a contractor but my father in law and I am your D-I-L." Tuntun says "you are not a D-I-L for me but a daughter. Krishna keep that tiffin there and eat when you have time." Krihna goes to keep the tiffin, tuntun begins to search for his file just when a pen drops. Krishna turns around, the trio are tensed. Tuntun says "I'll pick it up." Tuntun is about to pick up the pen, pinto gets tensed and closes his eyes. (awww mera cutie.)
Precap: choubey ji asks tuntun ji to throw a reception for the newly wedded couple. Tuntun says 'no, I spent a lot on his wedding and can't afford to spend more. Choubey says 'the name is chawani choubey and I promise that you won't need to spend even a penny on this." Tuntun is confused. "this is not just your D-I-L reception but it's the B.D.O's reception." Tuntun gets thinking, Krishna hears this from far.
