The original version of Jahnvi's infamous prayer christened Jahnvi's Prayer [insert mad and hysterically laughing emoticons here] is now available.

Jahnvi: Dear God, I pray for my husband's long life and happiness. May he be happy, even though he raped me, beat me, made me lose my child, paralyzed my grandma, pretended to burn my family alive, put my feet in boiling water, burned me, force-fed me, almost cut off my fingers, and, oh yeah, is the reason that I'm hiding for the rest of my life, lest should he find me and drag me back to repeat all of the abovementioned again. Amen.

I am loss of word right now that what I am feeling about it.

As a woman I feel so disgust about it that could not enjoy even Raghav , Krish and Sundar Scene any more.

I feel shame as woman

I can just see how society rubs its hands in satisfaction over Jahnvi's prayer today, assuming that she's still the self-sacrificing devi of an abusive man. Wahan Viraj ashram ki assault kar raha tha aur yahan Jahnvi uski happiness ki prathna kar rahi thi. What a message to send.

She prayed for his happiness and his happiness lies in getting her back, doesn't it?

anddd oye elysia, u missed out something re... koi baat nahi, i was doing telepathy of jhanvi. here's what she added after the original prayer u mentioned above :

woh actually, teri waali prayer ke baad usne hindi samjhne waalon ke liye is prayer mein elaborate ki thi apni original prayer. *wink*

My heart just sank...no not sank...it totally tanked after seeing Jhanvi pray for Viraj. 😲😕😡🤢

I just said this in another post...that I don't mind so much that she prayed...One can pray for their worst enemy...

it's what she prayed for that bothered me...Viraj's happiness. 😲😕 😡🤢

Has she lost it?!?! If she was so moved by the fact that it was Teej...she could have prayed for his good-health...for him to mend his ways...for him to never cross her path...but his happiness?!?!?

Does she not realize that his happiness lies in taking her back, and torturing her some more? Does she need to be battered, bruised and raped again before it sinks in that he is not a very nice person?

I'm confused at the confusion she displayed at the mandir...Really I'm at a loss for words...but then again, maybe she's a better person than I am.

I was disappointed too but I feel this could well be the final lot of any humane feelings she may have for Viraj. Once she is tipped about Viraj's presence in town and his shenanigans, I'm sure that will be the last straw before she turns the rage on. I'm not condoning her behavior-- just trying to look at the other side of the coin and trying to make that glass of water look half full: for the sake of my sanity of course.
