I quite liked the pace of today's episode. It concentrated well on one issue while broadly hinting at others that make up the plot-tapestry. It was a well-balanced affair and I have to say today's Pintu is a big improvement on Friday's! I think it is time to dig up the dialogue thread because Pintu's dialogues about Krishna being his wife today were pretty fabulous!

I am intrigued by the way they are playing this whole Ganga-Krishna face off and it is leading to a lot of questions in my mind, the first and foremost being whether Ganga would have ever agreed to Krishna as her DIL, irrespective of the arrest fiasco. And truth be told, I don't think so! I think she was fine with Krishna as long as she was her family's charity case but not so much as their ghar ki bahu. She is still very conservative and Krishna being an officer does not mean much to her in the capacity of her value to the izzat of the household. To her, Krishna is still a poor girl who does not measure up to her standards of what she wanted for Pintu...I imagine a girl very similar to Sargam, whom I have always been convinced is Ganga's choice.

I like Krishna's plan too! She is killing Ganga with kindness. Ganga cannot fight Krishna for long if Krishna is refusing to fight and on top of that doing exactly what Ganga says with a placid smile on her face. Pintu, who is much more effective any way can take care of the confrontations and the reality checks while Krishna rises above it all and makes her place in the household. I love how she is blindly following all of Ganga's passive aggressive demands, which Ganga is making in the hope of breaking her but Krishna and her family, as proved by Ravi are more resilient than that. What is more, they are bound by love so they will move heaven and earth to make things work.

It looks like Babloo is melting and if they should orchestrate an equally sudden return to his original self, I would not object. He clearly knows Krishna too well to allow a grudge against her to last for very long and I am pretty sure he is already ashamed of what his parents are doing. As much as a grudge against Pintu and Krishna will make him want to side with his parents, they make it impossible by being downright ridiculous! 😆 And he will automatically gravitate towards the young idealists because he is one himself!

I am surprised they didn't show his reaction when TTS asked if his work got done... I guess that is the next track for this week.

Pintu was absolutely adorable today and I loved the statement that he made when he stood up for Krishna saying that he likes the way Krishna and her family is and she is his wife regardless of her family status. He has accepted her exactly the way she is and would not want her to change on any grounds. Now, if only the CVs put Pintu back on track with his job search it would be great. Krishna would definitely be a tower of support for Pintu and would motivate him towards achieving his goals/objectives. It was nice to see Ravi and Krishna bonding. Krishna was alwasys nice to him and looking out for him but he was the one who mistook it and never reciprocated her love. But, it was nice to see him finally come around.

I liked the way Krishna intelligently took the middle path. She did not call her MAA as she would have liked it, nor the ridiculous CHAACHI as Ganga asked her to. She called her MAA JI.

Trust me I spent the whole weekend thinking how she would resolve this problem of addressal 😆
And I was proven wrong ...Kaleva sampann ho hi gaya. 😆

And lastly I feel bad for Krishna having to don all that jewellery. If I were in her place, I would have removed the jewellery as soon I was in the SUV and would put it back when again coming home.
But shall be stuck with that heavy saree to my discomfort...😔
Nice they showed Mangal struck by her appearance and asked if she really wanted to go to office. 😉

And wish Krishna gives the file to Pinto to fix it. It will be work for him & also maintaining transparency between the two over all these Tuntun dealings.

They are starting the TEENS show at 7:30 PM and want AB still at 7:00 PM. Cannot understand what ZEE thinks. Banging my head on the desk here!!

You are right. Ganga would never have liked Krishna for the difference in status. I felt that during the BDO training and Ganga was not happy with Pinto escorting her to & fro to Patna. She was giviing all the vibes. It is more of self-preservation for her. She cannot see Krishna higher to her son. Aur beta aisa hai ki usko kuch farak hi nahin padta !

Could not stop myself. want to add two things..

1. Why did Krishna not call her brother/parents and had it planned with then when to actually start from home for the Kaleva ceremony. It is absolutely ridiculous to show that she didn't think of this plan. She had got out also. Could have called Ravi from her office phone. Aajkal to bacche bhi itne smart hote aise mamlon mein...
2. I am also finicky like Ganga with regards to those different to ladles to be used for different dishes. 😳 Its a petty thing to say it..but was a good example for showing us that Krishna now needs to get accusomed to table manners of Tuntun house. I am not being a snob, but I actually was thinking Krishna will have a session at the table and it happened so soon 😆 Pretty hilarious for my own expectations at the table to be seen with my own eyes in a daily soap. 🤣
   

@Priya: I never thought about it like that but BDP have been the perfect training grounds for Krishna. I mean, they picked on her for the very same issues! Whether it is barbs at her poverty, her simplicity or her quietness (which they mistake for weakness), she has dealt with all these things all her life so ye Gangwa bhi kya cheez hain? 😎

@Shri: True, in addition to being not up to the mark, status wise, Krishna is more successful than her ladla professionally which must not sit well with Ganga. I too felt bad that she had to wear all the jewellery but then again, Ganga is trying to break her and Krishna is not giving in. But I loved Mangal's reaction! 🤣 He is fast becoming one of my favourite highlights of the show. Even though he doesn't do much, his characterisation is hilarious, especially as a foil to the some times over zealous Krishna.

I like your idea of Pintu fixing the file...and TTS getting to know only after it is processed. 😈

Don't even get me started on the timing of the shows. 😡

@All: How could I forget to talk about Krishna's deft handling of Sonu? That was adorable! I guess this is where growing up in a big, close-knit family with lots of siblings comes in handy. I wonder if Krishna used that for Chanchal or one of the older ones used it on her! 😉

@Shri - I also liked the simple yet tasteful collection of Krishna's sarees that she wore to work with minimal jewellery and makeup. I hated Ganga when she taunted her for not dressing up to their standards. She is going to her work not to a special occasion where she has to get all dolled up. Ugh 😡!!

I think she is going to her parents place. And if somehow Ganga gets to know about it (through BD), then bawaal khada ho jaayega for going to Maayka without Saas's permission.

@Shri - Yes that is a possibility. But do you think after the way TT betrayed BDP, they would even think about calling Ganga?? Also, don't they have their hands full with Pinky and the doctor who looks more crazy than pinky herself with all that crazy notions of his.
