I actually like Yash's fathers role. He doesn't have anything against Aarti and Ansh like Gayatri does. He just thinks with his head, not with his heart. That's why he will shut Gayatri up also. I understand why Yash and Aarti want to give the money to the kidnappers, but the father's thinking is quite reasonable as well. Even after getting the money, the kidnappers can still do anything.

Yea, Papa S is known to think collectively.. he usually surveys a situation and then makes his move or judgement.. he doesn't act on impulse like Gayatri .. and he is able to control any given situation so easily like he did with the Dubey's today though sometimes his character does show grey sides like his insistence on calling Aarti, Arpita or his pride over his wealth, status, etc ...
He is one heckuva character though that's for sure!
