Honestly they did not even have to "create" the character. They already had a whole sketch + analysis of Armaan's BLF counterpart - Armando Mendoza in front of them. Why bother deviating to such extents when they knew that they would not be allowed to do so?

It is not about brain & heart, it is about aatma, kahi purab ki aatma armaan mein transfer to nahi ho gayee ?? ya phir dono ka accident ho gaya, purab died and his heart was transplanted in Armaan, aur woh suddenly badal gaya.
