Eva Grover talks to God
TNN | May 13, 2012, 12.00AM ISTHe is around me irrespective of whether I go to church, temple or gurudwara or irrespective of whether I bathe or not. I pray daily, and recite the Hanuman Chalisa. I am a firm believer of Shiva. Om Namo Shivaya is on my mind and I always keep chanting it quietly.
I'm an extremely spiritual person. I have a strong Sixth Sense, before anything happens, be it five minutes or 15 days I sense it. I also get premonitions about unpredictable events, which are visible in my dreams and they do become realities. My tolerance and patience has increased due to spiritualism, and I can take things in my stride with a smile.
I'm a hardcore Shiva bhakt. I also love Radha Krishna and Maa (be it Durga, Kali or Badharkali). I visit gurudwaras, Mount Mary Church in Bandra and Bajrang Bali temple in Khar. I have visited Ajmer Sharif and Vaishno Devi in the past. Hemkund Sahib in Rishikesh is on my list of places to visit. The element of mystery and positivity that emanates from such holy places is infectious.
I'm not superstitious but have observed that certain things do indicate things which do happen. For example, if the right eye is flickering it is an indication of bad news coming; and if in left hand you feel desire to scratch, you get money. I have observed and experienced all of these.
I practise meditation and I am into creative visualisation. I meditate for 15 minutes once in three days at least. It can be any time of the day and anywhere. I believe in the power of prayers. When I am not shooting, 80% of the time, I am with myself. I also pen down my experiences and feelings in my diary. It helps me in detoxifying mentally and emotionally. My Me-time is very important to me.
Everyone must work to the best of their abilities. One must take responsibility for one's actions. Faith makes all the difference. When you have no answers trust God as his plans for you are surely better than yours. He ultimately gives you what you deserve sooner or later.
