News of a child's kidnapping is every parent's worst fear and nightmare and now that Aarti has confirmed news , all hell has broken loose in her mind-----her words, her behavior, her attitude, all reflect the symptoms of a mother who has temporarily lost her mental balance at the sudden shock of her child's kidnapping--- this explains her rude behavior with the Police Commissioner , --- asking him to leave,( without a thought to his status as a close family friend) was her way of expressing all her conflicting emotions and fears regarding the uncertainty of Ansh's fate. I can't even begin to imagine what Aarti would be going through, knowing that she had been this close to finding Ansh-----the memory of his fearful , voice saying "Mamma", and her inability to do nothing except wait for others , must be the worst feeling in the world. It is this very feeling of helpless inadequacy, that is prompting her to be aggressive with all those around her, irrespective of who they are, and her criticism of their efforts to help.
" When we are faced by something that really threatens us, it's impossible to look around, even though that is the safest and most sensible thing to do ."---Paulo Coelho
Such is the case with Aarti, as we know she is so used to making independent decisions regarding Ansh and herself , that she never learnt to rely upon others. Unfortunately, as we saw in the precap, Yash will have to bear the brunt of the backlash of her anger , criticism and accusations---let's hope he proves to be a patient and understanding husband (in other words -- a voluntary punching bag) and doesn't try to impose like he did with the school issue.
I shudder to think of the emotional and psychological trauma Ansh is going through starting with being a victim of Dame G's punishment , PayPal's ragging, Naye papa's insistence on attending school ----and then last but not least, being a witness to abusive domestic violence between Manjubai and her husband, making him realize that he's in danger. For a child who has been raised in a sheltered and loving environment, by an over protective mother, I think the trauma of all these incidents combined, is enough to covert our happy "pocket size goonda" into an emotional wreck . I am happy that he has Manju bai as a motherly figure to calm and assuage his fears at least----- hoping that she manages to slip through her husband's fingers and reach him home safe and sound . One thing that puzzles me is how come Manju bai's hubby asked for such an absurd sum as 10crore ?--- from his previous convo it seemed that he was satisfied with providing his wife with a gold chain, a pucca house and an air cooler etc.---in other words , very limited wants. So, I am at a loss to understand this inconsistency of character portrayal by the CVs.
I was actually blessing Sr. Shindiya when he said that Ansh was a "ghar ka bachcha" and he would pay up the ransom, but was outraged the next instant , when he finished his sentence worrying about the opinion of "samaaj"----I think I'll call him " Samajsevi Shindhiya" (SS)------as my knowledge of Hindi words is limited , please feel free to contribute an apt word-----.
It was a relief to see Prateek finally expressing his displeasure and anger towards Pari's casual and irresponsible behavior. Like Prateek , I too was hoping that had Pari seen his sms in time and announced about Ansh's disappearance over the radio , there might be some leads to the little boy's whereabouts. Prateek informing Pari about how much he wanted them both to be by Yash and Arti's side in this crisis, made us realize his extreme fondness and esteem for Yash. I pray that this bond between the Shindhiya brothers continues to flourish and the Shindhiya's can help Aarti weather this crisis with courage and fortitude. Oh –I forgot to mention that I want to bash Barbie Bua's brains out for her mean and insensitive remarks-----CV's pleeej send her back to the hole she slithered out from !
