The way he managed to play with both GH and RM people for sush a long time, and his tricks, cunning excuses, crafty attitude proved that he is not dumb at all!! No one except Shashi --among all those people had a slightest doubt about him (Shashi's doubt can be justified with any father's attitude of being protective towards the daughters) ,,see how he managed his journey from Lacknow to Buaji's house!! So I don't feel the WILL instead of all other legal document was simply a blunder made by him.
Completing the plan of WILL is followed with Kidnapping and murdering ASR-- of couse dangerous and harder than simply approching to anyother methods of snatching property.
But WILL+ natural DEATH /SUICIDE(he may be having seperate plans to cover up murder, and make it as a natural death or SUICIDE)---
will wash all the suspections towards him, as it will be just a Natural thing which won't make the
Raizada's or the outer world have a slightest hint that he was killed for his money. And specially he will have KUSHI (the widow) and the FAITH of Kushi remaining as she would not accuse him for his greed!
And Shyam can remain silent for along time, as he knows the is the sole owner for the property and only the heat is calmed down --when the matters come out he can also pretend as if he didn't know that he was the owner of the property.
My point is : If it is a WILL shyam doesn't have to sign on it, but if it is a Transfer deed or a Power of Attorney Shyam has to sign on it to make it valid. (This is according to the Roman Dutch law, but don't know whether it is the same in India)
Further , if it was a Transfer Deed (or a Power of Attorney and then to a Transfer deed) , no doubt he'd own property without killing ASR
but if he didn't kill him and just snatch his property , will he remain silence? Of-course ASR will take actions (including legal actions for fraud)
And the Power-of-Attorney can be cancelled by ASR as soon as he comes to know about it, (if he will not be late till Shyam make the transfer deeds and get registered)
And if he was killed just immediately signing Transfer deed or Power of Attorney:
Not only the Raizada's and GH would suspect him , but the law - the outer world will definetely figure out that he may have his hand behind the murder of ASR- as he is cosidered to be such a famous business tycoon!!
So, the WILL, is obviously safer, no one would suspect him!
